Individual Sound Projector (Fig. 5)<br />
The Individual Sound Projector provides<br />
authentic 5.1 surround sound from just<br />
one source. Its 40 <strong>in</strong>dividual speakers<br />
use the walls of the room to direct the<br />
sound reflections precisely. The room’s<br />
acoustics are measured automatically,<br />
and the sound waves are adjusted exactly<br />
accord<strong>in</strong>g to the angles of <strong>in</strong>cidence and<br />
reflection, depend<strong>in</strong>g to site, lay-out<br />
and set-up of the room. A measur<strong>in</strong>g<br />
microphone is supplied. Manual set-up<br />
is also possible for f<strong>in</strong>e tun<strong>in</strong>g. With<br />
the Individual Sound Projector you can<br />
experience perfect surround sound<br />
from all directions without mak<strong>in</strong>g any<br />
concessions to your liv<strong>in</strong>g space.<br />

The new Individual Sound Subwoofer<br />
Highl<strong>in</strong>e is the ideal appliance for real<br />
Hi-Fi enthusiasts. With a total power of<br />
800 watts, one active and two passive<br />
bass speakers, it offers the ultimate <strong>in</strong><br />
powerful bass.<br />
Internet radio<br />
Internet radio or web radio refers<br />
to an Internet-based range of radio<br />
programmes. <strong>Loewe</strong> products with this<br />
function can receive broadcasts from<br />
more than 8.000 radio stations from all<br />
over the world live and direct (without<br />
us<strong>in</strong>g a PC). It is possible to search for<br />
stations accord<strong>in</strong>g to country and genre<br />
and broadcasters from the user‘s own<br />
country are displayed automatically, so<br />
it is easy to f<strong>in</strong>d the required station.<br />
Personal preferences can be saved <strong>in</strong> a<br />
favourites list. Manag<strong>in</strong>g your favourites<br />
and listen<strong>in</strong>g to music is also possible<br />
via the <strong>Loewe</strong> website. The option of<br />
switch<strong>in</strong>g off the screen while listen<strong>in</strong>g<br />
to the radio can help to reduce power<br />
consumption.<br />
iPIP<br />
Advertis<strong>in</strong>g breaks can be shrunk <strong>in</strong>to<br />
a little picture w<strong>in</strong>dow us<strong>in</strong>g iPIP, while<br />
other channels are followed on a large<br />
w<strong>in</strong>dow. Press<strong>in</strong>g the iPIP button aga<strong>in</strong><br />
restores the first channel to full-screen<br />
mode.<br />
IR L<strong>in</strong>k<br />
The IR l<strong>in</strong>k function available as an<br />
upgrade allows discreetly positioned<br />
additional devices from other<br />
manufacturers to be operated us<strong>in</strong>g the<br />
<strong>Loewe</strong> TV set.<br />
L<br />
LCD Technology<br />
LCD screens consist of two backlit glass<br />
panels. Sandwiched between these two<br />
panels is a liquid (liquid crystal) stored<br />
<strong>in</strong> <strong>in</strong>dividual chambers whose molecules<br />
change their orientation when electrical<br />
voltage is applied. That is how the picture<br />
is created. The result is very compact<br />
construction, energy efficient displays and<br />
perfect picture quality.<br />
L-L<strong>in</strong>k<br />
This feature is the <strong>in</strong>telligent system<br />
connection between <strong>Loewe</strong> TV sets and<br />
audio systems for exchang<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong>formation<br />
automatically. It makes operat<strong>in</strong>g the<br />
television and <strong>Loewe</strong> system components<br />
easier than ever.<br />
Lum<strong>in</strong>ance Transition Improvement (LTI)<br />
LTI elim<strong>in</strong>ates artificial shadows created<br />
dur<strong>in</strong>g light to dark transitions. Pictures<br />
are thus displayed <strong>in</strong> more detail and<br />
writ<strong>in</strong>g is much clearer.<br />

Describes the content which can be<br />
accessed us<strong>in</strong>g the Network Media Player<br />
via the network with Connect. Pictures,<br />
music and video files can be received<br />
and played back. Images are shown <strong>in</strong><br />
high-def<strong>in</strong>ition; an automatic slide show<br />
is also possible. Search functions help to<br />
f<strong>in</strong>d the desired picture quickly. Music files<br />
can be sorted and searched for accord<strong>in</strong>g<br />
to artist, album etc. (when the necessary<br />
<strong>in</strong>formation has been provided). Music<br />
can also be played <strong>in</strong> the background<br />
dur<strong>in</strong>g a slideshow. Videos are also<br />
shown at a resolution of up to 1.920 x<br />
1.080 pixels, depend<strong>in</strong>g on the TV set.<br />
