Loewe pursues the strategy of integrating useful functions in the television itself, rather than dividing them
among other peripherals. As a result, Loewe’s power consumption in standby mode is less than 15 % of
that of another system with the same range of functions 1 . In addition, using the OPC function – as seen
for example on the new Art SL – Loewe also makes it possible to save up to 50 % of power consumption
while the television is in use by automatically adapting brightness and contrast to ambient light. What’s
more, with the energy-saving ”eco-standard“ mode, you can enjoy excellent picture quality whilst keeping
energy consumption low at the same time. And with the integrated power switch, the device can even be
disconnected from the mains power supply completely.
