47thBW G-119G 51-8252 is seen here on static display at Woodbridge on 18th May 1957. Some of the unit's aircraft carried nose-art and names and this machine sports what appears to be a cartoon jackal. Along with all the other Sculthorpe based G-119s it was sent back to the USA the following year for continued service with a reservist unit under Gontinental Air Gommand. The aircraft was only present in Europe for two years before being passed on to Strategic Air Gommand in February 1955 as the 60thTGW began conversion to the G-119G.
