Dile a tu hijo que lo quieres!!!<br />
Si cada día corregimos 15 veces en negativo (groserías<br />
o castigos) a nuestros hijos y les decimos NO otras<br />
quince, su saldo positivo en el banco de las emociones<br />
será “0”. Sin capital, ¿cómo van a aguantar hasta<br />
final de mes? Irán tirando, arrastrándose como<br />
puedan, hasta sentirse vacíos y sin fuerzas. O al revés,<br />
tan insatisfechos que pueden llegar a explotar.<br />
Es una manera de decir lo que les pasa a nuestros hijos,<br />
si, en su banco no hay dinero sino emociones. Y los ingresos<br />
o salidas dependen, de nosotros los padres.<br />
Ayúdales a que tengan su cuenta corriente emocional<br />
abundante. Así que no se te olvide hacer un ingreso<br />
diario con frases positivas y la mas recomendada es<br />
“Te quiero mucho!! Porque, le damos confianza en sí<br />
mismo y le ensenamos a amarse a si mismos y a los<br />
demás.<br />
Mas razones:<br />
1. Le generamos sentido de pertenencia. Sabe que<br />
forma parte de una familia que lo ama y que está<br />
siempre a su lado.<br />
2. Le damos felicidad, con lo que su cuerpo genera<br />
endorfinas (las llamadas hormonas de la felicidad),<br />
las cuales son positivas para el organismo porque no<br />
sólo generan placer, sino bienestar, ganas de vivir.<br />
Aprende el significado del amor y entiende que<br />
él también puede dar amor a otros.<br />
3. Le hacemos sentir apoyo incondicional.<br />
4. Con esto lo ayudamos a ser valiente y capaz de<br />
conseguir sus metas. Con el amor, alentamos a que se<br />
desarrolle.<br />
5. Ayudamos a que crezca como una persona<br />
individual, con sus propios aciertos y desaciertos.<br />
6. Ante cualquier error o inconveniente, sabrá que<br />
puede recurrir a sus padres y medida que crezca, será<br />
capaz de levantarse ante cualquier caída y ser<br />
plenamente capaz de resolver sus problemas.<br />
7. Con el conocimiento del amor, al decirle que lo<br />
quieres, hacemos que su corazón albergue otros<br />
sentimientos valiosos como la alegría, la esperanza<br />
y la fe.<br />
Ahora ya sabes solo algunos motivos de porque debes<br />
decirle a tu hijo que lo amas es bueno. Tu obligación es<br />
enseñar a que tu hijo sea una persona feliz y<br />
auténtica siempre en cualquier circunstancia.<br />

En cuanto llegó a Francia se puso a pintar<br />
pero sólo a partir de 1911 se dedicará<br />
exclusivamente a la pintura. Juan Gris<br />
queda muy impresionado por las<br />
obras cubistas de Braque y de Picasso con<br />
quienes en seguida traba amistad. Con<br />
fervor se lanza en el cubismo,<br />
dando siempre una dimensión<br />
más intelectual y constructiva a<br />
sus obras. Juan Gris conservará<br />
un estilo propio, basado en el<br />
rigor casi geométrico de sus<br />
composiciones y en la manera<br />
de evidenciar las permanencias<br />
formales en la representación de<br />
los objetos. Juan Gris esculpe,<br />
realiza collages, ilustra a poetas<br />
(Pierre Reverdy, Tristan Tzara…).<br />
En 1912 Juan Gris participa al<br />
Salón de los Independientes con el lienzo<br />
“Homenaje a Picasso”. Guillaume<br />
Apolinaire califica esta obra de “expresión<br />
del cubismo integral”. En el mismo año<br />
participa a la exposición cubista de las<br />
Galerías Dalmau de Barcelona, a la<br />
exposición de la Sección de Oro en la<br />
Galería La Boétie en París. Juan Gris se<br />
mantuvo fiel al cubismo en una clave más<br />
colorista. Esta última etapa ha sido<br />
habitualmente subestimada por<br />
comparación con el cubismo analítico,<br />
pero ha recobrado estimación en fechas<br />
recientes y fue motivo de una antológica<br />
en el Museo Reina Sofía en 2005.<br />
En sus últimos años Juan Gris diseñó<br />
escenografías para dos montajes de ballet<br />
de Diaghilev.<br />

Juan Gris is 19 years old when he<br />
moved to Paris in 1906, and soon after<br />
living some time in a hotel in Montmartre,<br />
he settled in a workshop of the<br />
Bateau-Lavoir. Pablo Picasso is a neighbor<br />
of his, very close! At first the artist makes a<br />
living doing important work as an illustrator<br />
for famous Spanish and French magazines<br />
(L'assiette au beurre, Charivari, Le Cri de<br />
Paris ...). He produces more than 700<br />
pictures to the press, mostly humorous or<br />
satirical. As soon as he arrived in France<br />
he began to paint but only from 1911 he<br />
devoted exclusively to painting. Juan Gris is<br />
very impressed by the cubist works of<br />
Braque and Picasso who he quickly<br />
befriends. With fervor he lances in Cubism,<br />
always giving a more intellectual and<br />
constructive dimension to his works.<br />

Guadalupe Teresa Amor Schmidtlein, mejor conocida<br />
como "Pita Amor”, fue una poeta mexicana poseedora<br />
de una personalidad singular polémica, conocida<br />
como la onceava musa, nació en la ciudad de México<br />
en el seno de una familia aristócrata, siendo la menor<br />
de siete hermanos. Le gustaba autodefinirse entre las<br />
mujeres como la más vanidosa y la más bonita.<br />
Gracias a que una de sus hermanas era colaboradora<br />
del compositor Carlos Chávez y fundadora de la<br />
Galería de Arte Mexicano, Guadalupe pudo insertarse<br />
desde joven en la vida artística de México. Durante su<br />
juventud su belleza fue inspiración de artistas como<br />
Juan Soriano, Martha Chapa, Alfonso Michel, Raúl<br />
Anguiano, Roberto Montenegro y Diego Rivera, quien<br />
la pintó desnuda. Este suceso representó un gran<br />
escándalo en una época. Guadalupe Amor siempre<br />
fue muy enamorada de sí misma y propensa a los<br />
escándalos. Su primera gran polémica ocurrió<br />
cuando tenía 18 años, tiempo en el que se convirtió<br />
en amante del empresario ganadero de 60 años<br />
Roberto Madrazo, con quien mantuvo una larga<br />
relación. A los 38 años decidió tener un hijo, a quien<br />
se sintió incapaz de cuidar por lo que decidió<br />
dejarlo al cuidado de su hermana mayor, Carito.<br />
Desgraciadamente el niño falleció al año y medio<br />
víctima de un accidente. La poeta jamás se<br />
recuperaría de este hecho, que causó su<br />
alejamiento de los escenarios y de la vida pública.<br />
Guadalupe Amor forjó su literatura en temas<br />
metafísicos, caracterizado por sus expresiones<br />
directas y desencadenadas, siempre en primera<br />
persona. Solía comparar su literatura con Sor Juana y<br />
Octavio Paz. En su poesía le cantó a Dios, a la muerte,<br />
a la soledad, a la angustia y a la nada. En su obra<br />
destacan los poemas "Puerta obstinada" (1947),<br />
"Círculo de angustia" (1948), "Polvo" (1949), "Décimas<br />
a Dios" (19<strong>53</strong>), "Sirviéndole a Dios" (1958), "Todos los<br />
siglos del mundo" (1959) y "Soy dueña del universo"<br />
(1984), entre otros. En su<br />
bibliografía destacan sus<br />
prosas "Yo soy mi casa" (1957)<br />
y "Galería de títeres" (1959).<br />

mujer acostumbrada a romper<br />
esquemas aunque su altanería<br />
y soberbia la alejaron de<br />
amores, familiares y amigos<br />
por esa causa vivió sus últimos<br />
años en profunda soledad.<br />

Schmidtlein, better known as<br />
"Pita Love” was a Mexican<br />
poet who possesses a unique<br />
personality controversy, she<br />
is known as the eleventh<br />
muse, she was born in<br />
Mexico City within an<br />
aristocratic family, the<br />
youngest of seven children.<br />
She liked to defined herself<br />
among women define<br />
themselves as the most vain<br />
and pretty. Thanks to one of<br />
her sisters being a collaborator of the composer Carlos<br />
Chávez and founder of Mexican Art Gallery, Guadalupe<br />
was inserted from a young age into the artistic life<br />
of Mexico. During her youth, her beauty was an<br />
inspiration to artists such as Juan Soriano, Martha<br />
Chapa, Alfonso Michel, Raul Anguiano, Roberto<br />
Montenegro and Diego Rivera, who painted her naked.<br />
This event represented a major Scandal at the time.<br />
Guadalupe Love was always in love with herself and<br />
prone to scandals. Her first major controversy<br />
occurred when she was 18 years old, during which she<br />
became cattleman 60 Roberto Madrazo’s lover, with<br />
whom she had a long relationship with. At age 38 she<br />
decided to have a child, whom she was unable to care<br />
for so she decided to leave him to her older sister,<br />
Carito. Unfortunately the boy died a year and a half as<br />
victim of an accident. The poet never recovered from<br />
this fact that pulled her away from the stage and her<br />
public life. Guadalupe Love forged her literature on<br />
metaphysical issues, characterized by her direct<br />
expressions and triggered, always in first person.<br />
She use to compare literature with Sor Juana and<br />
Octavio Paz. In her poetry she sang to God, death,<br />
loneliness, anguish and nothingness. In her work are<br />
the poems "stubborn Door" (1947), "Circle of<br />
distress" (1948), "Dust" (1949), "Tenths<br />
God" (19<strong>53</strong>), "By serving God" (1958) "All ages<br />
of the world" (1959) and "I'm the owner of the<br />
Universe" (1984), among others. In her<br />
bibliography her proses "I am my house" (1957)<br />
and "Gallery Puppets "(1959) are emphazised.<br />
Guadalupe Love was a woman accustomed to<br />
breaking patterns although her arrogance and<br />
pride caused her to become distant from love<br />
and friends for that cause she lived her last<br />
years indeep loneliness.<br />

bajos ingresos y para ayudar a los<br />
tomadores de decisiones y otros<br />
actores se unen al esfuerzo.<br />
En su obra, Juan Uranga ha<br />
ayudado a forjar alianzas<br />
estratégicas entre los productores<br />
y los trabajadores organizados y<br />
entre los defensores de la justicia<br />

La Cuaresma y Semana Santa<br />
Celebramos y recordamos la pasión y<br />
muerte de Jesús.- ¿Sabes? Lo más<br />
importante de la Cuaresma es que te<br />
¨CONVIERTAS¨. ¿Y qué significa<br />
convertirse ? es cambiar, luchar por<br />
quitarte lo malo, lo que ofende a Dios.<br />
Convertirse es también tratar de ser<br />
cada día mejor en todo lo que haces.<br />
¿QUÉ ES EL MIÉRCOLES DE CENIZA?<br />
- La CUARESMA empieza el MIÉRCOLES<br />
DE CENIZA; este día vamos a la Iglesia<br />
para que el Padre nos haga con ceniza<br />
una cruz en la frente y diga<br />
¨Conviértete y cree en el Evangelio.<br />
¿Por qué hacemos esto?<br />
-Esta costumbre es para recordarnos<br />
que todos algún día hemos de morir y<br />
que nuestro cuerpo se va a convertir en<br />
polvo.- Esto también significa que todo<br />
lo ¨material ¨, como nuestra casa, la<br />
comida y las cosas que tenemos, se<br />
acaba, y lo único que nos llevamos de<br />
este mundo es ¨ LO BUENO Y LO MALO<br />
QUE HAYAMOS HECHO ¨en nuestra<br />
vida. ¿QUÉ ES LA CUARESMA?<br />
En la cuaresma recordamos los 40 días<br />
que Jesús pasó en el desierto rezando<br />
y sin comer para prepararse antes de<br />
salir a predicar.<br />
-Cada año Dios te ofrece la Cuaresma<br />
como un tiempo especial para tres<br />
propósitos:<br />
1) Arrepentirte de tus pecados<br />
2) Hacer penitencia.<br />
3) Convertirte.<br />
1)ARREPENTIRTE DE TUS PECADOS :<br />
-Es tiempo de pensar:<br />
¿Qué pecados he cometido? Si tus<br />
faltas son graves, debes hacer una<br />
CONFESION; busca al Sacerdote, él<br />
es quien puede darte el perdón de Dios.<br />
-Recuerda que Dios te ama muchísimo y<br />
que siempre te perdona<br />
2) HACER PENITENCIA:<br />
-Si de verdad te duele haber ofendido a<br />
Dios, puedes REPARAR tus faltas,<br />
puedes purificar tu alma haciendo<br />
sacrificios. ¿Qué es hacer un<br />
sacrificio ?. Es ofrecer a Dios, porque lo<br />
amas, cosas que te cuesten trabajo,<br />
como por ejemplo: no comer algo que<br />
querías, ayudar a otro en su trabajo, ser<br />
amable con el que te cae mal, etc.<br />
Cada uno escoge lo que más le cueste.<br />
-En estos días de cuaresma piensa cada<br />
mañana: ¿Qué sacrificio voy a ofrecer<br />
hoy a Dios?<br />
3) CONVERTIRTE :<br />
-Convertirte es cambiar. Dejar de una<br />
vez por todas lo malo y buscar ser<br />
mejor. ¡Si quieres cambiar, ahora es<br />
cuando! Para cambiar de verdad, es<br />
muy importante que hagas buenos<br />
propósitos, que pienses cuales cosas<br />
concretas quieres cambiar y luego, cada<br />
noche, revises si cumpliste, verás como<br />
vas mejorando.<br />
- Reza mucho... pídele a Dios su ayuda<br />
para cambiar. ¡Con la ayuda de Dios,<br />
puedes lograr cualquier cosa!<br />
AYUNO Y ABSTINENCIA :<br />
- Durante la Cuaresma, la Iglesia nos<br />
pide dos sacrificios especiales :<br />
1) AYUNAR --- es decir, hacer una sola<br />
comida fuerte al día, el miércoles de<br />
ceniza y el viernes santo.<br />
El ayuno obliga a todas las personas de<br />
18 a 59 años.<br />
2) GUARDAR ABSTINENCIA --- es decir,<br />
no comer carne todos los viernes de<br />
cuaresma. El no comer carne puede<br />
sustituirse por un sacrificio todo los<br />
viernes de cuaresma.<br />
La abstinencia obliga desde los 14 años<br />
¿QUÉ ES SEMANA SANTA?<br />
- Al final de la cuaresma celebramos la<br />
Semana Santa, en la que recordamos la<br />
pasión, muerte y resurrección de Jesús.<br />
-La Semana Santa comienza con el<br />
DOMINGO DE RAMOS, este día<br />
recordamos cuando Jesús entró a<br />
Jerusalén y todo el pueblo lo alabó<br />
como Rey. Este día, los católicos<br />
llevamos palmas a la Iglesia, como<br />
los judíos en tiempo de Jesús, para que<br />
las bendigan EL JUEVES SANTO:<br />
El jueves de la Semana Santa,<br />
recordamos el día que Cristo tuvo<br />
la ULTIMA CENA con sus apóstoles.<br />
Esta cena es muy importante porque en<br />
ella Jesús, como sabía que iba a morir,<br />
quiso hacer algo para poder quedarse<br />
para siempre con los hombres.<br />
¿Y cómo hizo esto? Dejándonos<br />
LA EUCARISTIA, o sea la COMUNION.<br />
Entonces, cada vez que comulgamos,<br />
Cristo que está en la hostia, entra en<br />
nuestra alma EL VIERNES SANTO:<br />
-Después de la última cena, Jesús fué a<br />
rezar a un monte que se llamaba de los<br />
Olivos y allí lo tomaron preso.<br />
-Después lo interrogaron, lo azotaron,<br />
le pusieron una corona de espinas, se<br />
burlaron de El y finalmente le clavaron<br />
en una cruz y murió- ¡ Cuánto habrá<br />
sufrido ese día Nuestro Senor! ¿Por qué<br />
El, siendo el hijo de Dios, quiso pasar<br />
todo este sufrimiento? Sólo por el<br />
grandísimo amor que te tiene a ti y a<br />
cada uno de los hombres; para<br />
perdonarte tus pecados y para que<br />
pudieras salvarte.<br />
DOMINGO DE RESURRECCIÓN<br />
-Después de su muerte, Cristo fué<br />
sepultado y al tercer día RESUCITÓ.<br />
Este domingo de resurrección es el día<br />
más importante de la Semana Santa,<br />
es el día de más alegría para nosotros<br />
los católicos.- ¡Cristo ha triunfado<br />
sobre la muerte! ¿ Y qué logró con esto?<br />
Abrir de nuevo las puertas del cielo, o<br />
sea que al morir, podamos salvarnos y<br />
vivir por siempre felices en compañía<br />
de Dios.<br />
PROPÓSITO DEL MES:<br />
Queremos invitarte a seguir estos<br />
propósitos la Semana Santa, para<br />
acompañar y mostrar tu amor a Jesús.<br />
LUNES --- Leer este mensaje en familia.<br />
MARTES --- Leer en la Biblia la Pasión<br />
de Nuestro Señor Jesucristo.<br />
MIÉRCOLES --- Pensar en mis defectos<br />
y en cómo mejorarlos.<br />
JUEVES --- Dar gracias a Jesús por dejar<br />
nos la Comunión. Comulga.<br />
VIERNES --- Visitar la Iglesia para<br />
acompañar a Cristo en su dolor.<br />
SÁBADO --- Hacer un sacrificio especial.<br />
DOMINGO --- Estar felices y festejar en<br />
familia que Cristo ha resucitado.

WHAT IS ASH WEDNESDAY?<br />

CONFESSION; seek the Priest, it is he<br />
who can give you God's forgiveness.<br />

2) DO PENANCE:<br />
If you really hurts you having offended<br />
God, you can REPAIR your faults, you<br />
can purify your soul by<br />
sacrifices. What is making a<br />
sacrifice?. It is to offer God, because<br />

he died-How much must he have<br />
suffered that day Our Lord! Why He,<br />
being the son of God, did he want all<br />
this suffering? Just for the great love<br />
he has for you and every other<br />
person; to forgive your sins and for<br />
you to have the chance to save<br />
yourself..<br />
EASTER SUNDAY<br />
'After his death, Christ was buried and<br />
on the third day RESSURECTED. This<br />
Easter Sunday is the biggest day of<br />
Holy Week, t is the day most joyful day<br />
for us catholics.- Christ has triumphed<br />
over death! And what did he achieve<br />
with this? Reopen the gates of<br />
heaven, or at death, we must be<br />
saved and live happily ever after in<br />
the company of God.<br />

California reautoriza el derecho de<br />
manejo que hace 20 años elimino el<br />
entonces gobernador republicano,<br />
Pete Wilson durante su cruzada contra<br />
la población indocumentada. El impulsor<br />
principal de esta ley es el exlegislador<br />
demócrata, Gil Cedillo, ahora recién<br />
electo concejal de Los Angeles, quien<br />
agradeció a la amplia coalición que hizo<br />
posible que la ley fuera realidad, incluido<br />
el Alcalde de Los Angeles, Eric Garcetti y<br />
su jefe de policía, Charlie Beck. Cedillo<br />

El lunes, 16 de marzo a las 6<br />
pm hora costa este llevamos a<br />
Dulce y Nick al Aeropuerto<br />
Internacional Logan de Boston.<br />
Ahí, todos nos afirmamos nuestro<br />
habitual adiós; "Te quiero… hasta<br />
luego ... y cuídense ..."lo que<br />
continuó con un ... "nos vemos<br />
este verano en California".<br />
Normalmente, nunca podríamos<br />
ir más de un año sin vernos;<br />
normalmente sería no más de<br />
unos seis meses. Poco después<br />
de que se fueron, Nancy y yo<br />
hablamos un poco, acerca de su<br />
visita, sobre nuestro plan<br />
inmediato poco después de<br />
dejarlos; hacer unos mandados,<br />
escuchar música y retroceder<br />
a Maine.<br />
El plan estaba en efecto ... y<br />
justo después me fui a mi "Facebook"<br />
por teléfono en donde descubrí a<br />
través de un post que Tanya<br />
Enríquez había muerto. Había<br />
dejado de vivir. Sentado en el<br />
coche, atrapado en el tráfico, con<br />
una canción que tocaba sin<br />
sentido en el fondo, y yo con una<br />
tranquilidad y, francamente, como<br />
una pizarra en blanco, sin saber<br />
qué decir o sentir, lo único que<br />
podía hacer era seguir leyendo los<br />
comentarios virtuales de otros.<br />
Como un voyeur de facebook leía<br />
y me sentía como un niño de 10<br />
años sentado en la sala,<br />
escuchando una conversación<br />
entre adultos; "Ella está en un<br />
lugar mejor ahora","Ugh Estoy<br />
taaaan jodida y mi corazón está<br />
muuuuuuuuuuy roto, yo siempre te<br />
recordaré Tía Tanya Enriquezz te lo<br />
prometo !! I love u con todo mi<br />
corazón y descansa en el paraíso<br />
nuestro ángel!" "En nuestros<br />
corazones permanecerás siempre,<br />
serás querida y recordada todos<br />
los días. Te amo Tía Tanya.<br />
1975-2015", "siempre recordaré<br />
los buenos días!" y "fue por su<br />
propio bien”, y el mensaje más<br />
común, “se fue sin dolor, se fue y<br />
eso es lo que quería”.<br />
De alguna manera, leer que<br />
quería morir me consoló, como si<br />
por su deseo de no vivir por más<br />
tiempo fuera una razón válida para<br />
intentar ocultar mi dolor, como si<br />
de alguna manera el proceso de<br />
dolor, tristeza y pérdida que mi<br />
familia y yo estábamos a punto de<br />
vivir debido a su muerte no iba a<br />
ser tan doloroso ya que ella ya no<br />
quería vivir. No estoy seguro por<br />
cuánto tiempo debí haber estado<br />
tranquilo y callado, pero Nancy se<br />
dio cuenta y me preguntó qué<br />
tenía, es que a<br />
menudo hablo,<br />
sin fin, y a veces<br />
en círculos o sin dirección, pero<br />
debí haber dejado de hablar. Así,<br />
ella me preguntó qué pasa, y lo<br />
único que pude decir,<br />
aguantándome mis<br />
lágrimas, sosteniendo<br />
mis emociones,<br />
tratando de ser<br />
valiente como si por<br />
alguna razón este era<br />
el momento para ser<br />
valiente, y le dije:<br />
"Tanya falleció" y lo único que ella<br />
me dijo: "Estás bromeando, no es<br />
cierto, pero habías dicho que<br />
estaba mejorando" y en lo único<br />
que podía pensar era en cómo en<br />
el fondo, cuando me enteré de que<br />
estaba enferma, yo sabía que esto<br />
era el final, éste era su fin, y en<br />
aquel entonces aceptando dicha<br />
verdad fue reconfortante, como<br />
si de alguna manera eso fue<br />
suficiente para hacer frente a su<br />
pérdida, pero ahora después de<br />
leer estas noticias a través de un<br />
mensaje de Facebook era algo<br />
extraño. Todo lo que le pude decir<br />
a Nancy fue que necesitaba decirle<br />
a Dulce: "¿Has visto", "¿Qué?",<br />
"Nuestra tía falleció a las 6:00<br />
[seguido por una cara emoji<br />
llorando]", lo único que pudo<br />
responder fue "[una cara emoji con<br />
lágrimas corriendo por su cara]",<br />
y lo único que le pude decir fue<br />
"yup" me contuve mis lágrimas y<br />
esa extraña sensación que nunca<br />
antes había sentido, y para ser<br />
sincero todavía no sé cómo<br />
describir esta sensación. A veces,<br />
las caras emoji y el silencio mutuo<br />
son más que suficiente para<br />
compartir nuestras emociones con<br />
los demás ya que sabemos que no<br />
hay necesidad de articular con<br />
palabras nuestro dolor, sabemos<br />
que es difícil hacerlo y sólo basta<br />
comunicarnos con imágenes.<br />
En nuestro camino de regreso<br />
a Boston, lloré con Nancy junto a<br />
mí, lloré en silencio y luego en voz<br />
alta, mientras bajaba el sol y la<br />
temperatura. Tuve el coraje de<br />
volver a Facebook y publicar mis<br />
adioses y compartir su último<br />
mensaje en mi pared. Escuché a<br />
Boyz II Men y Mariah Carey y lloré<br />
por mi pérdida. Lloré por ella,<br />
como cualquier persona amorosa y<br />
cariñosa merece que le lloren una<br />
vez que se han ido. Lloré por mi<br />
dolor y recordé lo que había<br />
significado ella para mí, recordé<br />
nuestros últimos intercambios<br />
virtuales. Es extraño cómo el final<br />
de algo siempre trae lágrimas. Así<br />
llorando como si nadie me viera,<br />
así como un niño. Lloré tanto que<br />
al día siguiente me dolían los ojos,<br />
como si de alguna manera mis<br />
párpados se cerraran por estar un<br />
poco agotados. Después de tanto<br />
llorar, de alguna manera tenían<br />

posaron en la oscuridad,<br />
me acordé de su alegría,<br />
su sonrisa, sus historias,<br />
su amor y compañía<br />
como niño.<br />

todavía no estoy seguro qué sentir,<br />
tal vez voy a llorar más tarde, y no<br />
mientras escribo esto. También<br />
pienso en cómo toda mi familia<br />
está doliendo. No he hablado con<br />
nadie no porque no quiero sino<br />
porque el dolor es demasiado,<br />
hablar por teléfono y decir: “ella se<br />
ha ido, ella ya no está aquí” es<br />
insoportable. Supongo que todavía<br />
no soy lo suficientemente valiente<br />
para decir por teléfono que<br />
nuestra tía Tanya ya no está aquí<br />
y que ella ya no estará aquí ni<br />
estará en Facebook publicando<br />
sus mensajes cariñosos y<br />
declaraciones de apoyo. A pesar<br />
de que ya no veré sus mensajes<br />
en Facebook lo único que pude<br />
decir por ese medio fue lo<br />
siguiente:"¡Te vamos a extrañar!<br />
Gracias por todo tu amor y<br />
cuidado. Siempre llevaré el<br />
recuerdo de ti conmigo”. Es mucho<br />
más fácil para mí escribir esto en<br />
silencio porque pensar en decirlo<br />
en voz alta a un ser querido y<br />
expresar con ellos esta pérdida<br />
mutua es demasiado y algo<br />
doloroso porque su ausencia nos<br />
deja a todos con un sentimiento<br />
de pérdida .. CONTINUARA<br />

Feeling at a loss …<br />
On Monday, March 16 at around 6<br />
pm east coast time we dropped<br />
Dulce and Nick off at Logan<br />
International Airport in Boston.<br />
We all stated our usual good-bye;<br />
“Love you… see you later…and take<br />
care…” Followed with a … “see you<br />
this summer in California”. Normally,<br />
we could never go more than a year<br />
without seeing each other; typically<br />
it would only be about six months.<br />
Soon after they left, Nancy and I<br />
talked for a bit, about their visit,<br />
about our plans soon after dropping<br />
them off at the airport; run a few<br />
errands, listen to music and drive<br />
back to Maine.
The plan was in effect…and right<br />
after I went to my “Facebook” phone<br />
app, only to discover via a post that<br />
Tanya Enríquez had officially passed<br />
away. She had officially stopped<br />
living. I sat in the car, stuck in traffic,<br />
with a pointless song playing in the<br />
background, quiet and frankly as a<br />
blank slate, unsure of what to say or<br />
feel, all I could do was scroll up and<br />
down the various posts. As a<br />
facebook voyeur I read and I felt like<br />
a scared 10 year old sitting in a living<br />
room, listening to a grow-up conversation;<br />
“she’s in a better place now”,<br />
“Ugh I'm sooooo fucking pissed my<br />
heart is sooooooo broken I will forever<br />
remember you Tia Tanya Enriquez<br />
I promise!! I love u with all my heart<br />
and rest in paradise our angel!” “In<br />
our hearts you will always stay, loved<br />
and remembered every day. I love<br />
you Tia Tanya.1975-2015”, “will<br />
always remember the good days!”<br />
and “it was for her own good”, and<br />
perhaps the most common post, “she<br />
left without pain, she left feeling<br />
better this is what she wanted”.<br />
Somehow, reading she wanted to<br />
die comforted me, as if her desire to<br />
not live any longer was a valid reason<br />
to attempt to mask my pain, as if<br />
somehow this process of pain,<br />
sorrow and morning my family and I<br />
were about to experience was not<br />
going to be as bad since she no<br />
longer wanted to live. I am not sure<br />
for how long I must have been quiet,<br />
but Nancy noticed and asked what<br />
was wrong, you see I talk often,<br />
endlessly, and at times in circles or<br />
without direction, but I must have<br />
stopped. So, she said what’s going<br />
on and all I could say, holding my<br />
tears back, holding my emotions<br />
from emerging, attempting to be<br />
back this strange sensation never felt<br />
before, and to be frank I still don’t<br />
know how to describe it. Sometimes,<br />
the mutual silence and mutual emoji<br />
faces are more than enough to share<br />
your emotions with others. We knew<br />
there was no need to explicitly<br />
articulate our pain, we knew, it was<br />
hard, we knew it was difficult, we<br />
knew things would be better,<br />
somehow, someway, so we<br />
communicated with images.<br />
On our way back to Boston, I<br />
mourned with Nancy next to me, I<br />
cried in silence and later out loud,<br />
as the sunset and the temperature<br />
reached its frigged degrees. I had<br />
the courage to go back to Facebook,<br />
and post my goodbyes and share<br />
her last post on my wall. I listened to<br />
Boyz II Men and Mariah Carey and<br />
sobbed over my loss. I cried for her,<br />
as any loving and caring person<br />
deserves to be cried over once<br />
they are gone. I cried in pain,<br />
remembering what she had meant<br />
to me, remembering our last virtual<br />
exchanges. It’s strange how the end<br />
always brings tears. So I cried like if<br />
no one was watching like a little boy.<br />
I cried so much that the next day my<br />
eyes hurt, as if somehow my eyelids<br />
were soar and a little exhausted.<br />
After so much crying, somehow they<br />
needed to rest and stop seeing,<br />
so I let them stay in the dark for a<br />
day or two. As my eyes rested in the<br />
dark, I remembered her joy, her<br />
smile, her stories, her love and<br />
company as a young boy.<br />
Now, as I write this still unsure of<br />
what to feel, perhaps I will cry later,<br />
and not as I write. I also think of how<br />
all of those other family members<br />
are doing. I have not talked any of<br />
them not because I don’t want to, but<br />

El velo simboliza la pureza y la inocencia<br />
