El burro parece un animal con inteligencia baja y terco.<br />

Sin embargo, el burro es muy inteligente. Los burros tienen<br />

62 cromosomas (16 más que los seres humanos). Análisis<br />

recientes han revelado que la leche de burra es rica en<br />

oligosacáridos, carbohidratos con unas potentes propiedades<br />

inmunoestimulantes. La gente de campo de la India la usa<br />

como alimento infantil. También se ha usado para beneficiar<br />

en casos de sida y cáncer. Además los burros son animales<br />

muy valientes. Cuando se asustan, no salen huyendo sino<br />

que rebuznan con fuerza. Un burro es el único animal de<br />

su tamaño que no retrocede si se encuentra con un león,<br />

razón por la cual en África se usan burros para<br />

proteger al ganado. Hasta los perros asustan<br />

de los burros. También los burros se usaba<br />

de transporte mucho antes que los caballos.<br />

El burro, o el asno, se domesticó por<br />

primera vez en Etiopía y Somalia hace<br />

unos 6.000 años.<br />

animal with low intelligence.<br />

However, the donkey is very<br />

intelligent. The Donkeys<br />

have 62 chromosomes<br />

analysis have revealed that donkey<br />

milk is rich in oligosaccharides, carbohydrates<br />

with powerful immunostimulatory properties.<br />

Country people of India uses it as infant food.<br />

It has also been used to benefit in cases of AIDS<br />

and cancer. Besides donkeys are very brave<br />

animals. When frightened, they do not run away<br />

but bray loudly. A donkey is the only animal<br />

of its size that does not turn its back when<br />

encountering a lion, why in Africa donkeys are<br />

used to protect livestock. Even the dogs are scared<br />

of donkeys. Also Donkeys transport was used<br />

long before horses. The donkey or ass, was first<br />

domesticated in Ethiopia and Somalia<br />

some 6,000 years ago.<br />
