Global Framework <strong>for</strong> Action


What is <strong>Sanitation</strong> <strong>and</strong><br />

<strong>Water</strong> <strong>for</strong> All?<br />

• Vision: universal, sustainable sanitation <strong>and</strong><br />

water supply<br />

• Alliance of like-minded organization: not an<br />

organization in itself. Works though members.<br />

• Common vision <strong>and</strong> a set of values <strong>and</strong> guiding<br />

principles <strong>for</strong> a transparent, accountable <strong>and</strong><br />

results-oriented framework <strong>for</strong> action <strong>to</strong> address<br />

the obstacles <strong>to</strong> global progress<br />

• Based on mutual trust, support, <strong>and</strong> commitment<br />

<strong>to</strong> principles of aid effectiveness, including<br />

national ownership of plans
