up the great work and you will be
fine.
Michelle: How did you enjoy your
first year on varsity? Although I
didn’t really get to know you very
well, I know you will do
wonderfully in the years to come.
Good luck and never give up!
ELLI! Elli, you are the most
amusing and charming girl I know.
Everything you do just makes me
laugh, and swim season was no
exception. I cannot believe how fast
you are! 1:03 like me, right? You
and Kate are the perfect pair and I
couldn’t imagine it any other way.
You are going to do so well in water
polo and swimming in these next
three years and I am very excited to
see how the next seasons pan out.
Always be true to yourself and you
will be very popular in life :)
Hi-d! OH, Heidi, what should I
say? I don’t know how you do what
you do, but whatever ii is, keep it
up. I cannot believe that you swam
a 1:07 in your butterfly. That is just
so incredible! Can you believe we
only have 4 more days of school?
OH MY GOSH. Thank you so
incredibly much for all of the
laughs, the gift you made me, your
athleticism, and your just being
Heidi. This year would not be
complete without a Heidi in it, and I
am forever grateful for your
presence. Push yourself in college
and never underestimate the power
of Heidi!
Tiffany Y: The all around good
swimmer who always had to leave
practice for band, which I do
admire. You have all of your bases
covered. Although you were a little
quiet, I can tell that you are funny,
hard―working, and a wonderful
person. Try your very best in these
next two years to show everyone
who you are.
Tiffany W: Wow, wow, wow.
Tiffany, you have such a positive
attitude in everything you do and
you are so awesome when you
swim. Just watching you touch the
wall a second before the other team
is so inspiring and exciting. In
Every event you can dominate and
still come out with a smile. How
can I forget you, Tiffany? I love
talking to you and watching you
swim, and you really made my job
as captain an enriching experience.
Best of luck (you don’t need it :))
and just keep swimming…
Lastly,
Coach Barr
I am so grateful for your immense
dedication to the varsity girls’ team
for waking up at 4:45 to come and
teach us the tricks of swimming. As
a coach, I have learned so much, not
only in the ways of strokes, but in
life skills as well, from hip-hop
music to furniture to how to raise a
child to… Barr, the list can go on
and on. I am going to miss you and
your mantras while I am in college,
but just remember that you can
always ask me anything and that
you have truly inspired me to work
past my limits. Thank you, from the
bottom of my heart, thank you.
Well, girls, it has been an honor and
pleasure to be your captain this year
and I just want to let you know that
everything you girls do is amazing.
I will miss all of you so very much.
Love,
Your Captain,
Saskia
To the varsity girls: First
off, congratulations on
winning league champs. Even
if we have to share it with two
other teams, we know who
the better team is. I am very
proud of what we
accomplished this season.
Kelly Chang: There have
been some… awkward
moments between us, but its
okay we just laughed it off,
right?! All the pictures we
have taken have been of us
after our awkward moments. I
promise you there will be a
picture of just smiling. Back to
swimming! You still have three
years of varsity swimming.
Don’t give up. I promise you’ll
get faster.
Stephanie SAMUDRO. Why
are you so fast? You still have
three more full years of
swimming. I KNOW you will
get A LOT faster and you
better keep me updated. Also
remember not to have a hair
tie on your wrist when your
swimming or I’ll personally
come down to cut if off for
you. (:
Ellie: Ellie even if you don’t
show it, you are one
dedicated swimmer. You rarely
missed a practice! I’m sad I
didn’t get to know you better.
Every time I saw you after
your race, you would usually
have a smile on your face no
matter how you swam. Keep
working hard!
Michelle: I RARELY talked to
you this season. I think that
was my fault, sorry. You
would always swim events
that Barr put you in without
complaining. For this you
really helped the team out
with our lose ends! We
wouldn’t have completed the
season on a good note if you
weren’t a team player!
Anna: This season you really
helped the team. When we
needed you to step up, you
did. You knew how to help the
team and never let us down
one bit. You were always
relaxed before your race! You
always made people laugh
with your “comfortable sitting
