DON’T MISS IT! RiseFest set to rise again<br />

RiseFest started off as a small Christian music festival. Since then, the festival has continued<br />
to grow and grow and grow. Ten years ago, the stage was much smaller. There was no jumbotron<br />
to show performances. This year, they are bringing in a considerably larger stage, along with a big screen<br />
to help patrons see the performances on stage. RiseFest will take place in Sheldon on June 19-20.<br />

We all scream for ice cream<br />
Seemingly endless scoops of ice cream and a<br />
Saturday morning parade. What more can one<br />
ask for during a summer celebration? If you visit<br />
Le Mars for Ice Cream Days, the answer is a<br />
whole lot more. Along with plenty of that aforementioned<br />
ice cream of course. There are events<br />
both old and new to entertain the whole family<br />
during Ice Cream Days from June 17-20.<br />
A well-vetted weekend<br />
A collection of cool rides will be cruising the lakeside next<br />
weekend as Vettes in the Park takes over the Iowa Great<br />
Lakes area with a variety of events for the Corvette afficionado.<br />
But that doesn’t mean you have to be a Corvette lover,<br />
or even an owner to join in on the fun at Vettes in the Park<br />
June 19-21 in the Iowa Great Lakes.<br />

force with a weekend<br />

fun. A devastating<br />
flood last year forced<br />
the annual summer<br />
celebration to be condensed<br />
into a single<br />
day with many events<br />
canceled altogether.<br />
This time around all the<br />
traditional events are<br />
back, along with a few<br />
new events like a soap<br />
box derby and ping<br />
pong ball drop the celebration<br />
lasts from Friday,<br />
June 19 until Sunday,<br />
June 21.<br />
