6,000 graduates later...
Academia Management Solutions International,
AMSI, and its schools, have been dedicated to
transforming the lives of students for over 30 years.
AMSI schools have graduated over 6000 students
and have been home to over 200000 students at one
time or another. The walls of our schools now share a
thousand secrets…
As parents, all we want is the betterment of children’s
education. As educators with a wealth of knowledge
and international expertise, we have a daily quest for
the betterment of our schools.
As a management company that combines family
values with a professional approach, we developed a
sense of the urgency at both the schools level and the
investor level.
We became the solution provider we set out to be.
Welcome to our world...
Al Mawakeb… 31 years later… ISAS... 3 years later... over 400,000
students who at some point or another made our schools their
home… over 6000 graduates later… all are celebrating with us
tonight every one of them proud of you…
It is never easy to bid a loved one farewell… you have watched them
grow…you shared some of their dreams…you have seen their passion
and you may have even glimpsed into their future…you have
seen them fall and rise again… you know their strength and their
weakness and they have made you proud…now they leave you and
are left with the wonder of their memory, and the gnawing need to
find out what they have achieved…
We are teachers and it is our destiny…you pass through our lives
every year and move on…we are privileged for we touch your lives,
and through them we better our own… We shall always hear of the
riches of the world, and never see any of it. What we will always have
is the feeling that no profession can offer… The satisfaction that
comes with a smile of gratitude, or with a handshake and a hug and
a sincere expression of thanks.
At the end of today…there will be a lot of tears and a lot of smiles…
And tonight right before they turn in, your teachers shall think back
upon the years… those who worked with you in any class along the
way, shall remember how you have progressed and they shall know,
that they shall always be part of your lives…
Then they will switch off their lights, smile and sleep very well for
they know that you are going to be fine…
Fare well and know that you are in our hearts...

Al Mawakeb School... a special home for 14 years...
Another year goes by, and we find ourselves bidding our students
farewell as they set forth on another journey of learning and self-discovery.
With the class of 2010, an elite group of students deserve a special
mention – a group that spent 14 years within their second home, Al
Mawakeb.
We proudly reminisce their first day of school. Their little hands
gripped their parents’ as they opened the doors to the school that
would later become a second abode. Every year, we saw the once anxious
and frightened 3-year olds grow and prosper to become hopeful,
spirited and curious young learners.
They now stand tall before us, fine young men and woman, each with tremendous confidence and
integrity. They leave us with the greatest of memories; a first dance or song on Mothers’ Day, triumph
during a sports challenge, endless hours cramming for exams, or memorable performances
during activities and shows...
We are confident that their endless energy and fervour will continue to shine in any challenge that
will come their way, whether big or small, academic or fun. We are proud of whom they’ve become,
of how they created the highest, grandest vision possible for their lives.
The next steps for you we expect will be glittering. You have the chance to follow your passion and
create a successful life with all the values you learned, knowledge you attained and potential you possess.
Give it everything you have no matter what the destination is.
ISAS in 3 Years...Watch Us Grow...
It has been 3 years since180 students arrived with their parents
and knocked on our doors, all eager to experience what ISAS has
to offer.
We started small, often no more than 10 students per class. But
despite the small numbers, we were determined to create for
them an atmosphere where individuality and growth were welcomed
and encouraged.
As the second anniversary of our school approached, we saw the
growth of our family, an increase in student body and staff, and
more opportunities and experiences shared.
But it was from its beginnings that ISAS saw the maturity of a culture
and spirit that would make it what it has become today.
Although our students were young, with no juniors or seniors to
pave the way and lead the younger learners, they strove with such
fervent energy to create the most wonderful memories, impressive
accomplishments and remarkable triumphs.
We are proud of how hard they worked together to create a harmony
among one another and a culture and spirit that have captured
us all...proud of how they conquered many
challenges...proud of how they whisked away the spotlights with
their innovative genius at the young entrepreneur competition...proud
of how they exhibited their environmental awareness
at the Arab Forum for Environment and Development (AFED) in
both Bahrain and Beirut... proud of how such a small and young
group beat their more experienced peers in Qatar with their
robotics and computer skills...proud of their artistic talents be it
at our own Art exhibitions or at the Dubai World Trade Center
and the Car Art Festival...
3 years later, we achieve our finest goal to date. We proudly witness
the commencement of 43 fine young ladies and gentlemen…The
ISAS class of 2010, the first graduating class of the
International School of Arts and Sciences.
A first graduating class that is truly First Class…

To the class of 2010, we say:
Congratulations! You made it!
There is every reason to have an enormous amount of satisfaction
at your success. You have worked hard, faced challenges,
and perhaps been overwhelmed at times. But now, you
have reached your first peak - we hope you have many more.
As exciting as graduation is, it always comes with a barrage of
questions about what your next steps will be. Don’t worry
about that. What truly matters is that you make the decision to
face new challenges and experiences until you “figure it all
out,” but make sure you experience it – successes, failures,
everything! For it is with each new encounter that you will
grow and thrive.
No one knows what’s installed for each one of you or what experiences lay ahead, but
the best you can do is put yourselves out there and do your utmost. As graduates of
Al Mawakeb, in many ways, you’re prepared for what’s to come. Your school has
prepared you for life’s challenges because each one of you embodies focal characteristics
that are key ingredients to success: spirit, character and a sense of community.
The Al Mawakeb spirit instilled in all of you transcends beyond sports and competitions.
It drives you to do your best in everything you set your mind to do – school
work, friendships forged, competitions, sports…
Over the year, your school has instilled character in you. You’ve all spent time learning
in and out of the classroom, forming friendships, interacting with your teachers,
being active in clubs, showing leadership, playing sports and competing in all kinds of
contests. All of these activities have served to build your character by establishing a
strong sense of right and wrong, a greater perspective on life, and a better understanding
of other people and yourselves. This kind of character will help you to experience
life’s future triumphs and hardships with dignity and courage.
You’re all now lifetime members of the Al Mawakeb community. Over the next few
years, college, jobs and relationships will pull you all in different directions. Although you
may see much less of each other, you’ll always have something in common: a sense of
belonging to the place that has come to be known as your second home. This applies for
all alumni who can now all relate to each other’s experiences here. So the next time
you’re out there and life becomes stressful, scary or impossible, rest assured, take a shot
– we’ll be pulling for you. The Al Mawakeb community is your community: support it,
enjoy it, and lean on it when you need it.
We have prepared you for what’s to come in many ways. Let the preparation, love and
support from your family, friends and Al Mawakeb be your drive to put yourselves
out there and take your shots.
To the first graduating class at ISAS...
It was September of 2007 when the International School of Arts and
Sciences - ISAS opened its doors for the first time, drawing parents and
students from different regions of the world. They came, they saw, and
they believed in us...
As they get ready to leave us, we return their faith and match it with pride.
To the first graduating class at ISAS, Class of 2010,
In 2007, you believed in us...In 2010, we believe in you...
exceeded them. We set a high standard...you raised it...
don’t go to ISAS to accomplish something; you go to ISAS to be somebody.
can have. You came to us with different backgrounds, cultures, beliefs and
goals, but in no time, you all came to embody one harmonious identity that
now shapes what ISAS is all about.
Everything here started with you, but it doesn’t end here. ISAS Class of
