Stacking Wax
One of the biggest problems with using core drills is the chipping on the entry
point and probable blowout on the exit. To minimize this on your critical
pieces, you need to utilize stacking wax and wax scrap glass to the top and bottom
of your piece before drilling. Works best on flat surfaces. Bonding expendable sheet
glass to protect your glass project.
Aluminum Oxide
Dressing Stick
Made of a compressed 80 grit aluminum oxide, these 2" x 2" x 6" sticks are
perfect for dressing your sintered core drill or diamond saw blade. A quick
drill or pass through your dressing stick will expose new diamonds and allow your
drills or blade to continue working your glass most efficiently. Repeat as necessary.
Water Reservoir
Rings
These water rings are a fantastic way to instantly create a water reservoir for
drilling your glass. They suction down onto a flat surface and then are filled
with water. Great for use on larger glass pieces where a hand held drill is necessary
or with smaller drilling with a Dremel or Flexible Shaft. Break away from your sink
and from excess water mess. Each kit contains a 1-1/2" and 3" ring.
