1.4 Notes on SafetyUse with other productsCS 1000 (ACX32.000/ALG) is designed exclusively for the control and supervision ofventilation units.Only third-party products supplied with the CS 1000 by <strong>Flexit</strong> or recommended by <strong>Flexit</strong>may be integrated in the system without restrictions. 2 HandlingInstallation2.1 Installation Procedure2.1.1 <strong>Controller</strong>The CS 1000 is designed for installation in control panels and is mounted on DIN rail.If voltages exceeding AC 29 V (e.g. AC 240 V) are accidentally applied to the lowvoltageterminals, the controller will be damaged beyond repair!A specific transformer for the power supply is required. 2.4 General Information on Navigation2.4.1 LevelsData access is divided into 2 underlying levels: Operating level Parameter setting levelThe end-user has access to the operating level:Operating levelParameter setting levelOn the operating level, the end-user can read and change certain values without havingto enter his password. In principle, this applies to current plant values and states, i.e.end-user parameters.The HVAC engineer has access to the parameter setting level:The end-user has no access to the parameter setting level. It is for exclusive use by theHVAC engineer and can only be accessed by entering the appropriate password. Enteringthis password gives access to the highest entry level, making it possible to readand change all values available on the operating level.In this documentation, the terms ”End-user parameters” and ”HVAC engineer parameters”refer to the settings made via the so-called parameter names (with the exceptionof the scheduler). The basic settings (and the scheduler) do not have these names.The parameter names are designations that describe the respective parameter andwhich often consists of individual abbreviations.Examples. 2.4.2 MenusThe parameter names or the setting lines are accessed via main menus (start page)and submenus. The structure is shown in section 2.4.4.The order, in which the menus for the individual parameter names or setting lines areselected, is also described in the overview and description section.
