RAD 120 is an innovative diagnostic system with continuous and full
random access mode for the total automation of fluoroimmunoassays.
Reading is performed in fluorescence at 450 nm.
Rad 120 is able to automatically aliquote, assay, predilute and dilute
cascade tests (Reflex tests). Urgent tests may be effected within the
routine performance without using dedicated positions.
The solid phase is constituted by ferrite magnetic particles coated
with zirconium.
These particles, thanks to their chemical and physical characteristics,
have a high binding capacity towards biologically active molecules.
This grants a rapid and effective separation of free/bound fractions
and application to different test methods (direct, indirect, capture).
An interactive and multitasking software helps the user in all working
phases.
