Consider alternative routeswhen considering your route prior to travel.21 Debris on the RoadEnsure the vehicle windscreen is clean. Use the vehiclelights. Reduce travelling speed to increase availableresponse times. Maintain adequate separation distance fromthe vehicle travelling in front.22 Merging LanesTake caution when approaching merging lanes.
