I have submitted a preliminary Part3 to Mr. Gainer for his review. One of the unexpected results when we got aresponse from the State Office of Parks Recreation was a recommendation thatan archeological survey, not a dig, but a survey be conducted in the areas thatwe are going to disturb. We found out about that about a week and a half ago.We have since engaged an archeologist and he will be on-site next week. So asmuch as I would like to see you close out SEaR tonight, you are barred fromdoing that.Vincent Cestone • Mr. Gainer is there anything that I need to do?Ron Gainer· No, if the Board is so disposed you may wish to close the publichearing if you don't think there is any more public comment to be expected. Andthat's as far as you can advance the application tonight. Your immediateobligation upon the close of the public hearing is SEaR and as explained by theapplicant's consultant, we have to wait for the archeological study that has beenrecommended. And with that in hand and presuming that no new information isobtained it may then be appropriate to develop a negative declaration forconsideration for the future meeting of the board. And once SEaR is resolved,and a negative declaration is made, then you are free to take action on theapplication in either to approve or deny.Vincent Cestone • When do you think the archeological survey will doneGlennon Watson· I would say to be practical your first meeting in Septemberwe could close this out. I know you are going to try and have one more meetingin July but to be honest I don't think it will be enough time for him to complete hiswork.Vincent Cestone· Okay.Paula Clair· I just want to clarify one point for myself. So the special use permitwill permit office space only not residential space in that building.
