here in Croton, New York. I am also a resident of the Town of Philipstown. Mr.Kent got notice of this Hearing Tuesday, I think July 6 th . And he contacted myoffice and I was on vacation. I returned today, in my office today. So I am notprobably as up to speed as could be on this but I think I understand the issuesthat are before us. But before I make any presentation I would ask Mr. Watson ifhe would, I think I read on the map or I saw a map that showed that the septicarea was 8,000 square feet. And I think Glen just said that that was like a 50 by50 square which would make it 2,500 square feet and I just want to knowGlennon Watson - You are required to have an expansion area but you are notrequired to clear it or do anything. You have to have an expansion area that isequal to the size of the systemRobert Hilpert - You can clear it but you are not required toGlennon Watson· You have to clear the area where you put the primarysystem, the functioning system, where you install that. You do not have to clearthe area where the reserve areaRobert Hilpert - So the 8,000 square that I saw included the expansion areaGlennon Watson - CorrectRobert Hilpert - Roughly 2,500 and the expansion is another 5,500Glennon Watson - Maybe my eyeball estimate is offRobert Hilpert - I am not holding you to it, I am just trying to get an idea of theratiosGlennon Watson - Yeah it's about, it is half expansion area and half primaryareaRobert Hilpert - I went through the application that was submitted and then Mr.Watson's statement that supported the application and it lays out all the tests thatare required as set forth in the Town Law. And I won't burden you with all thedetails but maybe for the members of the public that are here it would be goodfor them to know, good for them to understand that in order to grant an areavariance which is what this is, this is an area variance. That the applicant mustmake a presentation to the board and then the board really considers five factorsVincent Cestone - You know, we know this, so if we could just get to the pointRobert Hilpert - I told you that I wasn't, I am just telling you that there are fivefactors that they need to consider. In their application a lot of the information thatthey presented I think is misleading.
