This modification is approved and accepted by:• The United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) – Project Number ODA-T-2008-GIVX-SA-010• The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) – Project Number - EASA.IM.A.C.01865The design of this <strong>ASC</strong> is approved by aircraft type design data for installation on aircraftregistered for operation in accordance with applicable regulations of the FAA and EASA.The design of an <strong>ASC</strong> is configured to a standard (“greenie”) production aircraft. If sparewires, pin connections or locations called out have been used for another modification, theinstalling agency must ensure the development, documentation and approval of any requireddeviations.The following instructions, in step-by-step form, are written as a guide to perform this <strong>ASC</strong>.Compliance with safe maintenance practices, as defined in the Aircraft Maintenance Manualand FAA or EASA regulations, is required. It is the responsibility of the installing facility toread all instructions contained in this service change and refer to all associated documents,drawings and manuals for applicable actions.Gulfstream considers this <strong>ASC</strong> a means to enhance aircraft capabilities to meet individualoperator requirements. Refer to G450 AMM, Chapter 20.NOTE:In-Service Evaluation participants complete a full software load inaccordance with GIVX-GER-9934. Skip Steps B and E of this <strong>ASC</strong>. Recordthe 16-digit Integrated Navigation Data Service (INDS) serial number fromthe Charts Revision page. This number will be needed to access the aircraftcharts after the software loading is complete in Step F of this <strong>ASC</strong>. PerformSteps C, D and F through O.B. Complete Steps A through D of <strong>ASC</strong> 052, PlaneView Avionics Enhancement (SV-PFD).C. Apply electrical power to aircraft. Refer to G450 AMM, Chapter 20.NOTE:Correct setup of the aircraft laptop with the CMC Remote Terminal Tool iscritical to the successful loading and operation of all software. Follow DataLoad Guide procedures CAREFULLY. Ensure any firewalls, anti-virusprograms or wireless LAN connections are disabled and the laptop isconnected to 60 Hz aircraft power.D. Load PlaneView Master Operating System software, PN EB7031236-00411, inaccordance with GIVX-GER-9934 Rev. “H” or later approved version, Section 2.0,PlaneView Software Loading. Remove MOS disk from laptop and store in aircraft.NOTE:Testing of this installation and the installations found in G450 <strong>ASC</strong> 052should be conducted only after all of the hardware and software installationsare completed. GIVX-GER-7132 is the only required test.E. Comply with G450 <strong>ASC</strong> 052 Steps E.1 through 12.F. Verify all software loads in accordance with GIVX-GER-9934 Rev. “H”, or laterapproved version, Section 6.0. Enter 16-digit INDS serial number recorded in <strong>ASC</strong> 052Step A.3 to access charts information as required.G. Perform a fault history database (FHDB) reset as follows:1. Select administrative tools under the settings tab from the CMC Remote Terminalon the aircraft laptop. Refer to Figure 2.2. On the administrative options page, enter password “GPV” and select execute.Refer to Figure 3.H. Perform Return-to-Service (RTS) Checkout Procedure GIVX-GER-7132 provided withthis service change.I.
