It is expected that other vendors’ applications willignore all presentation contexts proposed <strong>for</strong> the GE<strong>PACS</strong>_PRIVATE_IMS Storage SOP Class.2.5.3 Privatized Transfer SyntaxThe DICOM Server supports the following Private transfer syntax:COMPRESS_EXPRESS TRANSFER SYNTAX 2.16.840.1.113709.1.2.2This private transfer syntax has been applied <strong>for</strong> the DICOM Server to propose and accept thepresentation syntaxes <strong>for</strong> all DICOM v3.0 Standards Storage SOP Classes that the DICOM Serversupports (see Sections 3 and 4). It uses Explicit VR and Big Endian <strong>for</strong>mat <strong>for</strong> the data set encoding,and the GE proprietary CompressXpress and TruRez image compression algorithms <strong>for</strong> the pixeldata compression. No pixel data encapsulation is applied.It is expected that other vendors’ applications will ignore all presentation contexts proposed with theCOMPRESS_EXPRESS transfer syntax.2.6 CONFIGURATIONThe exact method <strong>for</strong> configuring each configurable item is specified in other <strong>Centricity</strong> <strong>PACS</strong>documentation.
