For lighting and structural reasons it is often necessary to usecontinuous rows of luminaires as gym lights. In multi-purpose hallsthe lighting is placed in specific positions, evenly distributed over theplaying area.For maximum effect, the lighting for indoor tennis arenas is placedabove the sidelines of the court. They may either follow the line of theroof or they are placed parallel to the playing area, where they have tobe turned to an individually calculated angle to the horizontal in orderto enable the necessary light to be equally distributed (s. sketch).Using standard mounting rails, the continuous row luminaires caneasily be mounted with chains or steel cables. The 4 m long mountingrails can be cut to the required length or lengthened by using standardjoiners.
