Please visually inspect the condition of the Speedo sensor, wiring connector for damage or open circuit, thesensor is located on the left side crankcase cover, between the engine oil dip stick and the water pump, itemNo. 10. If all looks good, please perform a Speedo sensor test, refer speed sensor three pin connector location, itemNo.3 (refer illustration 2.)Illustration 21. 2.3. 4.1. Trigger Coil Plug 2. DEALER BULLETINSpeed Sensor Test3. Ground pin # 1;4. Connect pin # 3 with +12 V voltage;5. Fit a gear 2.5mm away from speed sensor and hold them there;6. Turn multi meter to DCV range;7. Slowly rotate the gear and measure the voltage between pin # 2 and pin # 3.8. If voltage reading varies from 0 to 12 V, it indicates the speed sensor is in goodcondition. Otherwise, it's defective and requires a replacement.9. If speed sensor test OK, please check dash wiring plug.(Refer Illustration 3.below for wiring pin locations )Illustration 3.10. Test ride the ATV motorcycle to ensure the Speedo is operating as designedPlease ensure all after sales and technical staff are made aware of the above information.
