Learning <strong>Spring</strong> <strong>2013</strong><strong>Massasoit</strong> offers two types of online learning courses: Fully Online courses and Blended courses. Fully Online and Blended courses provide a way for you tocustomize your learning experience to match your educational goals, learning styles, and scheduling constraints.To learn more about Online Learning at <strong>Massasoit</strong>, visit the <strong>Massasoit</strong> Online website at: www.massasoit.mass.edu/massasoit_online or contact us atonlinelearning@massasoit.mass.edu.Orientation sessions for online and blended courses are offered both online and through face-to-face orientation sessions held on campus. A studentcourse Online Orientation may be accessed any time at: http://www.massasoit.mass.edu/massasoit_online/orientation.cfm.On-Campus Sessions are available the week before classes begin as well as during the first week of classes. Orientation sessions provide assistance withgetting started with your online course, strategies for ensuring your success, and general information about taking an online class. Students are encouraged toattend an orientation session using Canvas, our new learning management system.The orientation sessions begin promptly at the times listed below. Each course has a site on the World WideWeb, where assignments and communication with the instructor can take place. Students are required to have regular access to a computer with a workinginternet connection for online courses.With online classes, students meet online during the semester.
