Degree Information / Student Health InsuranceNote: There is a distinction between matriculation (enrolling in a degree program) and registration (enrolling in a course.)ADMISSIONSProspective students are encouraged to apply as earlyas possible prior to the beginning of a semester sinceapplicants are admitted to most programs on a first come firstserve basis. The cost of the student onlyplan for the spring is $695.00. The coverageperiod is 01/01/13 – 08/31/13. Detailedinformation about the plan can be obtained@ www.commonwealthstudent.com.Students eligible to waive the insurance fee cando so by logging into their portal account andselecting the waiver option located under theStudent Accounts Office section on the StudentHome page.Transfer Credits: Upon receiving all paperwork, credits earned atother institutions will be reviewed by the Registrar and appliedto a student’s program if criteria is satisfied.Credit for Prior Learning: CPL is a process by which a matriculatedstudent may apply for credit for life experience. All studentsreceiving credits for prior learning will be assessed the sametuition and fees as students taking a course. This is not to beconfused with CLEP exams. Orientation sessions provide assistance withgetting started with your online course, strategies for ensuring your success, and general information about taking an online class.
