The use of tires other than those specified may causeinstability. It is highly recommended to use the specifiedtires. TIRE TYPEBRIDGESTONE (BT020F F.....Front, BT020R.....Rear)STEERINGThe steering should be adjusted properly for smooth turning ofthe handlebars and safe operation. Overtight steering preventssmooth turning of the handlebars and too loose steering will causepoor stability. Check that there is no play in the front fork. Supportthe motorcycle so that the front wheel is off the ground. With thewheel facing straight ahead, grasp the lower fork tubes near theaxle and pull forward. If play is found, readjust the steering. (6-31)
