Like the charismatics with theirman-centred pseudo-gospel message of self-esteem, textual critics haveembraced a low view of Scripture and lofty view of man.Although many conservative CT advocates attempt to create at leasta dichotomy between higher and lower criticism, most textual criticsalternate between both systems with ease.
