Some have already replaced the KJV with the NIV or one ofthe modern versions. They refuse to take a separatist stance against theliberal and ecumenical modern versions which are based upon corrupttexts. They even go so far as to malign as “heresy” the biblical doctrineof the verbal and plenary preservation (VPP) of the Holy Scriptures. Wepray for their repentance. The truth is Psalm 12:6-7 which says, “Thewords of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth,purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preservethem from this generation for ever.” Matthew 5:18, “For verily I say untoyou, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise passfrom the law, till all be fulfilled.” Matthew 24:35, Mark 13:31, Luke21:33, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not passaway.” God promised to preserve His inspired words and we believe Hekept His promise. The Westminster Divines, our Calvinistic forefathersbelieved this; Dr Carl McIntire, the father of Bible Presbyterianismhimself believed this.
