The Company has obligation also to make provision forseverance payment to employees upon resignation or retirement. The year 2011 is thefirst year in using this new accounting standard which the Company needs to calculateretroactively the amount that the Company is obliged to provide.Mr. Voravit Rojrapitada then proposed to the shareholders to considerand approve the annual dividend payment at 12 baht per share for the year 2011allocated from net and accumulative profits. The Board of Directors had agreed andalready made the interim dividend payments of Baht 8.25 per share so the balance ofBaht 3.75 per share is payable. The final cash interim dividend payment will be made on Wednesday April25, 2012.Mr. Voravit Rojrapitada then asked the meeting if there were any queriesor comments regarding the allocation of net profit for cash dividend payment for theyear 2011. Mr. Apichat Mekmasin, a shareholder, attending on his own behalf, askedwhether the Company will continue the dividend payment policy at Baht 12 per share ornot.Mr. Chai Sophonpanich, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO)informed the meeting that in future the natural perils will happen more frequent.However, the Company, with good risk management, will be able to make profit onoperation. In addition the Company still has quite high accumulative profit and if theBoard of Directors consider appropriate, the Company would be able to pay the samerate of dividend for the next 4-5 years.There was neither proposal nor additional query; he then concluded theresolution as follows:RESOLUTION:The Meeting, by majority votes of shareholders attending the meeting andcasting votes, approved the allocation of net profit, cash dividend payment for the year2011 and the record date for the right to attend the Annual General Meeting of theShareholders and the right to receive the cash dividend payment and the date for closingthe company’s share registration book of record as proposed.
