year <strong>20</strong>12.Mr. Vora<strong>the</strong>p Srijirarat, a proxy, inquired about <strong>the</strong> business policy for <strong>the</strong>Mr. Panus Thiravanitkul, <strong>the</strong> President, clarified that <strong>the</strong> Company, in eachyear, has set <strong>the</strong> strategy and key performance indicators (KPI). As <strong>the</strong> result, <strong>the</strong> writtenpremium <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> company continues to grow year by year. For <strong>the</strong> year <strong>20</strong>12, <strong>the</strong>Company set <strong>the</strong> target <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> written premium at 12,000 million Baht under <strong>the</strong>following strategies:- Good risk management; <strong>the</strong> Company will promote awareness <strong>of</strong> clientsregarding risks and prevention.- Emphasize on indemnity and reinsurance activities as many reinsurershave suffered substantial underwriting loss from <strong>the</strong> flood last year and<strong>the</strong>refore <strong>the</strong>y will impose tough reinsurance condition and lossconsideration.- Develop new products to suit customers’ needs. Better renewal <strong>of</strong>policies is also important.- Expansion <strong>of</strong> networks and business channels, more emphasize in retailbusiness.- Investment in modern technologies, process improvement for betterservice and communications.- Human Resource programs for recruitment, development and training forour staff to be more pr<strong>of</strong>essional and better equipped for <strong>the</strong> opening <strong>of</strong>AEC in <strong>the</strong> next 3 years.There were nei<strong>the</strong>r fur<strong>the</strong>r questions nor o<strong>the</strong>r matters raised forconsideration, <strong>the</strong> Chairman <strong>the</strong>n declared <strong>the</strong> meeting closed and thanked allshareholders for attending <strong>the</strong> meeting.During <strong>the</strong> meeting, <strong>the</strong>re were additional shareholders present at <strong>the</strong>meeting, thus <strong>the</strong> number <strong>of</strong> voting shares in each agenda will exceed <strong>the</strong> openingnumber. For <strong>the</strong> proxy holders, <strong>the</strong> shareholders had already cast <strong>the</strong>ir vote in proxyforms specifying <strong>the</strong>ir approval in Agenda 1 to 7 and disapprove or abstain in Agenda 8.Therefore, <strong>the</strong> number <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>se additional votes did not affect <strong>the</strong> resolution <strong>of</strong> all <strong>the</strong>agendas concluded earlier.Page 26
