Stop in at any <strong>Skokie</strong> <strong>Park</strong> <strong>District</strong> facility with the following documents: proof of shots forrabies, distemper, parvovirus, hepatitis, bordetella, and para-influenza, as well as proof of stool specimen for internal parasites.Pooch <strong>Park</strong> Rules and Regulations• All dogs must be at least 4 months old.• Dogs must be spayed or neutered by the age of 12 months. Un-neuteredor un-spayed dogs over the age of 12 months will not be allowed to usethe park and are subject to fine.• Dogs must wear a current State Health Department license tag and beup-to-date on rabies, DHLPP and Bordetella shots. Dogs that areill will not be allowed in the park. Proof of shots is required beforemembership can be sold.• Dog owners are solely responsible for the actions of their dog(s). Ownersmust have voice control of their dogs, and prevent aggressive behavior,i.e., biting, fighting. Dogs must be leashed immediately and must exitthe park if aggressive behavior is observed.• Children must be supervised by an adult (18-years-old) to be in the parkand must remain with the adult at all times.• Dog owners are required to pick up dog feces and dispose of feces in thewaste receptacles which are available throughout the park.• No more than 2 dogs per person on any one visit.• Dogs must be on a leash in the parking lot and walkways. Owners mustkeep the leash with them at all times .• Owners are liable for damage/injury by their dog(s) to another dog,person or park property.• Complaints or grievances may be submitted electronically at the parkdistrict web site (www.skokieparks.org). If complaints are registeredregarding aggressive behavior of your dog, or non-adherence of rules,membership may be revoked. Each incident will be reviewed on a caseby-casebasis.• The <strong>Skokie</strong> <strong>Park</strong> <strong>District</strong> and the City of Evanston are not responsiblefor the actions of the dogs and their owners.
