The ArgumentsRUX SUPER FACADE SCAFFOLDS

All-inclusive technology!• Logical grid dimensions• Flexible modular system• Bay lengths of up to 4 m• Load capacity up to 6 kN/m 2• Permissible heights > 100 m• Optimised safety• Excellent handling• Complete accessories’ programme

Only a few basic elements – a solid foundationThe RUX SUPER scaffolding system is availablein two basic widths: S65 with a width of 65 cm,designed for 2 planks, S100, 100 cm wide, for threeplanks. The gravity locks firmly fastened to the frame to holdthe diagonal braces and guard-rails, and the pinswelded onto the top of the frames to hold the deckingin place ensure fast and safe assembly without shiftingor dislocation of individual elements. The integrated T profile at the bottom of each framefits on top of the planks, locking them firmly in place, thus preventing tripping hazards and the risk ofplanks lifting off.The logical mounting sequence proceeds almostcompletely without tools. As soon as the bottom deckis levelled, the structure mounted on top of it alignsitself automatically at the correct angles. Clearlydefined connection points force the structure into thestability that is characteristic of RUX scaffolds. In combination with the light weight of the frames, this adds up to countless advantages, turning eventhe basic version of the RUX-SUPER scaffoldingsystem into a genuine all-round talent.RUX-SUPER - the low-cost scaffolding solution

These are just a few examplesto demonstrate the versatility ofRUX-SUPER systems. We will bepleased to show you more solutionson request.End guard-rails and guardrail posts are available in allstandard heights and widthsto ensure adequate safety.RUX brackets are available toassist with easy widening ofthe scaffold by 0.30 m up to1.00 m. This makes it possibleto fit scaffolds even to intricateprojections and recesses onbuildings without having to resortto special structures.

Details to inspire enthusiasm: super-fast assemblyFlexible modular systemScaffolds for all kinds of applications can be assembledwith only few components. Thanks toexcellent statical values and an extensive choice ofspecial parts and accessories, you can forget abouttime-consuming screwed structures.Ingenious assembly sequence10All vital joints, including vertical frames, planks, diagonals and guard-rails, are connected in only afew, easy steps without using screws or wedges. Thepreset scaffolding geometry is the essential factor inthe compulsory assembly sequence with automaticself-alignment. This means, in the assembly of thestructure only the bottom deck has to be measuredand aligned. Thereafter all elements mounted on topare automatically forced into plumb-vertical alignment, thus increasing both speed and safety.Optimal weightThe light weight is a vital attribute of RUX-SUPERS65/100 facade scaffolds. Its effect is strengthenedby the ideal scaffold widths of 65 and 100 cm respectively. This system offers the best possible ergonomicproperties while also being one of the lightest scaffoldingsystems on the market.Logical grid dimensionsMaterial calculations have become child’s play, sincethe RUX-SUPER 65/100 modular system is basedon metric dimensions. With only few components, scaffolds with bay lengths of up to 4 m can be erectedquickly and easily. All bay lengths from 1.00 m upwardscan be combined with each other. The standardframe height is 2 m.

Details inspiring enthusiasm: safe workingUnique safety standardsThanks to the unique T profile, trip hazards are a thing of the past. The T profile secures the decking planks against lift-off. By overlayingthe planks, a smooth surface without dangerous seesaw effects is obtained. This is the ultimate standard for user safety.Clever pinsThe welded-on pins not only pre-determine the position of planks. They also prevent the planks from slipping sideways. An important factfor structural engineers: thanks to their being firmly locked into place, the planks become statical elements.Enormous rigidityThe high rigidity of the SUPER 65/100 scaffolding system has reducedthe number of anchoring points required to a minimum. This pays off withsavings of material, transport and labour costs. 11The top position is lonely – come and join us!There are good reasons for innovation:Innovative leadership of an industry:this is our commitment!• The cost-efficiency potential of any system is never completely exploited. Here, the focus is primarily on the product design of existing elements.“We invest in developing new scaffolding elements and optimisedsolutions every year. We owe this to our faithful customers”,says Volker Rux, Managing Director. This continuous process can only be successful through closepartnership with our customers. Many suggestions from ourcustomer base have already led to genuine innovative productsproduced in important volumes.• New technologies promote improvements in manufacturing techniques and the use of new materials,as well as the implementation of sophisticated ideas. Our product range and total commitment are aimed at providing you with a significant competitive edgein the future as well.

Extensive optionsA generous choice of brackets, transoms and accessoriesensures optimal adjustment of scaffolds to thearchitecture of the buildings. Especially in industrialscaffolding, where scaffolds for pit frames, conveyorbridges or pipelines require extreme flexibility, thesystem offers a comprehensive range of elements toincrease the productivity of building sites.

Details inspiring enthusiasm: ideal adjustmentSmart small mattersA steel cap set in the profile of timber planks isa simple means of optimising the overlaying of theplanks. After all, every single tripping hazard is onetoo many.Ideal dimensionsThe optimised dimensions of the system ensure furthermaterial savings even where brackets are used. Whenusing standard RUX brackets, covers for the gaps areusually not necessary. Gap covers like those shown inthis illustration need only be mounted on gaps with awidth of 8 cm or more.13Production in the rhythm of time – just in time, and designed to fitUltra-modern manufacturing equipment ensures the proven, superior product quality from RUX.Besides its own production facilities, RUX employs numerous small and medium-sized manufacturing partnersto ensure prompt delivery of the complete product range. In addition to process control and qualityassurance, our main focus is on flexible productionscheduling for reliability in meetingall our customers’ demands.Of course individual customised projects ormini-series also have their proper place in thisorganisational structure. We want to be able to respond to your specialrequirements at short notice and with topqualityproducts at any time. Can there beany better way to win the loyalty of ourcustomer base?

Details inspiring enthusiasm: optimised logisticsIntelligent loadingThis may puzzle you at first glance, but 90 % of anyscaffolding contractor’s main activity is transportingmaterials. Consequently, whoever considers costefficiencyin scaffolding must treat logistics as a majorconcern.Optimised product design provides a 30 % increasein load capacity for the user.14One glance at this illustration will show you how anordinary truck can be optimally loaded with a modernRUX-SUPER 65 facade scaffold. Thus many unnecessarykilometres between storage facilities and buildingsites can be saved. Anyone calculating on costefficiencysimply can’t pass up this unique solutionfrom RUX.The RUX success factors for cost-efficientscaffolding:light-weight products with optimal stackingproperties, effcient use of space on transportvehicles and easy handling.

Brilliant optimisations15Whether it be planks that can be stacked inside eachother or vertical frames staggered side by side - designwell thought out in every small detail is what makesthe big difference.Eased handlingTransport of heavy loads causes waste of energy, which includes physical energy. Every gram of productweight saved will directly benefit you and your staff. All of this combined with meeting ultimate safetystandards.

RUX-SUPER in action: facade scaffoldsAs high and as large as possible. Under theseconditions the modern RUX-SUPER 65/100 facadescaffolding system can play out its advantages to thefullest extent.Logical dimensions and interchangeable componentspromote easy and efficientt adaptation to a great varietyof forms.

This system also cuts a fine figure in suspendedscaffolds or with rambling facades – theideal assembly kit both for scaffolds on smallscalefacades and for skyscrapers.17

RUX-SUPER in action: industrial scaffoldsIndustrial projects often impose restrictions of various kinds on the typeof materials used for scaffolding.Whether it be aluminium, timber or steel –RUX can always supply the right type of scaffolding elements.Light elements, easy handling and convenient dimensions are unbeatableadvantages for scaffolding inside technical equipment. The largest scaffold evererected for a brown coalexcavator was a RUX-SUPER 65/100 scaffold, consisting of only a fewstandard elements.

RUX-SUPER in action: restoration and weather protectionThe scope for using RUX facade scaffolds in therestoration business is staggering. The extensivechoice of brackets and decking plus clever combinationwith accessories makes any type of scaffoldingpossible:• suspended or round scaffolds• interior scaffolds• either anchored or self-supporting• straight or with projections20

The RUX weather protectionsystem providesthe correct equipment toensure safety as well asprotection from rain.RUX-Alu cassette roofsare the ideal cover foryour facade scaffold.Of course they alsocome with built-in weightkillers to promote longtermefficiency of yourwork.21
