She had caring and compassionatequalities which made her a wonderful nurse. Those qualities carried through to every area of herlife. She was truly a lovely woman in every way and she will be sorely missed by her family andnumerous friends. Mrs.Caddell was a native of Johnston County and lived in Durham from 1948 until moving toFranklinton in 1989. She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Tobatha Dupree Young andwas the widow of John Henry Caddell. She was a former employee of Burlington Mills. She wasa member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.Surviving are 3 sons, John Henry Caddell, Jr. of Franklinton, Bobby Sherrill Caddell ofHillsborough and Michael Wayne Caddell of Murfreesboro, TN; 3 sisters, Peggy Gilbert ofBenson, Margaret Blackmon of Angier and Kathleen Reeves of Benson; 8 grandchildren and 15great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Hudson Funeral Chapel. Rev. TommyRobertson will officiate. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will beJeff Baker, Tyree Hobgood, Ray McClain, Travis Ennis, Mark Smeltz and Steve Wicker.Visitation will be tonight from 7 until 9 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and at other times at thehome of John Caddell, Jr., 1607 Wayside Farm Road, Franklinton.
