Mrs. Wellswas a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Erwin and was a registered nurse for 55years. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Greenwood Cemetery bythe Revs. George Poffenbarger and Tom Taylor.Mrs. Wells is survived by a son, Robert T. Wells of Dunn; a brother, Carvus A. Byrd ofSmithfield; a sister, Nila B. Cates of Lillington; two grandsons; and two great-grandsons.The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Skinner Funeral Home.
