Reunions:
1965
The Class of ’65 held its reunion over the weekend of Sept.
10-11. The festivities began with a golf outing on Friday
morning and was well attended. A stag was held on the night of the 10th at the Villa Hills Civic Center, and about 50 class members attended. On
Sat. Sept. 11, we met at the new school for a tour of the campus given by
Sue Finke. Our class then attended the game vs. Campbell County (which
the Colonels won!) and we were introduced to the crowd at halftime. That
evening we reconvened at the Drawbridge for a dinner dance with wives
and girlfriends. About 45 couples attended and a great time was had by all.
The waist lines have expanded, there is a bit less hair, the stories are a bit
grander, but after 45 years, our Colonel Pride has only grown.
