NO REPRISALS: There shall be no reprisals against any member of the LTA bargaining unitfor his/her actions pertaining to the negotiated <strong>agreement</strong> or LTA activities.E. MAINSTREAMING/INCLUSIONE.1. Whenever a student is “mainstreamed” from the special education classes to theregular and specialist (art, music and physical education) class, the regular classteacher will be consulted regarding the student’s ability and special needs.E.2. The Board shall make reasonable efforts to equitably assign specialeducation/handicapped students to classrooms at each grade and/or subject level ateach building.E.3. Regular education and specialist (art, music and physical education) teachers soaffected may also ask for a review of the special education student’s progress, if thestudent doesn’t appear to be making successful progress and/or passing the class. Ateacher who has a concern regarding a student’s behavior or performance and whohas an IEP shall first discuss the concern with the respective teacher. The teacher maydiscuss the concern with the building principal and may request that the principalinvoke the necessary steps of reconsidering the IEP.E.4. An aide already individually assigned to a specific student for any reason shallaccompany that specific student to all other classes including specials, etc.F. SAFE AND HEALTHFUL WORKING CONDITIONSF.1. The Board will provide safe and healthful working conditions as prescribed by ORC4167, the Ohio Public <strong>Employment</strong> and Risk Reduction Act. The Board shall notifyteachers of a student with a communicable disease assigned to their class orsupervision to the extent that it knows and to the extent allowed by law, civil andcriminal, and teachers shall treat such information as confidential unless specificallyinstructed to the contrary.F.2. No bargaining unit member shall be required to administer medications, medicalprocedures, or other health or sanitary procedures except as required by jobdescription and/or when standing in loco parentis.G. MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT: Mileage reimbursement shall be at the rate equal to the permile allowance being utilized by the Internal Revenue Service. The modification will bemade effective July 1 of each school year.9
