All underlined the fact thatthe value of Thermal Waters that hadhigh capacity to cure was a blessing ofthe nature to the area and that theseresources used for human health problemscombined with the desire to travelThermal Turkeymade the area very valuable for healthtourism and thermal cure. It was alsostressed that this was a millennium forPamukkale especially for Karahayit asthe project for the development of twovillages for Thermal Cure at Akkoy andGolemezli was disclosed for investment.Backed by the University of Pamukkale,the Mayor emphasized the importanceof the usability of the natural resourcesfor the use of the whole world in curesand tourism. The scientific speecheswere given by the European authoritieson the subject from;Hungary, Germany, Slovakia.Prof. Tamas Bender ( Hungary ) talkedon the Thermal Tourism in Hungary .Prof. Dr. Bender is the President of theInternational Medical Ecology and HydroclimatologyAssociation and theHead of the Hungarian Balneology Association.Joachim Lieber ( Germany ) gave aspeech on Thermal Tourism at the EuropeanThermal Cure Centers. He isthe General Secretary of the EuropeanThermal Cure Centres.Dr. Janka Zalesakova ( Slovakia ), gavea speech on the Quality Standards ofthe European Thermal Cure Centers.Dr. Janka is the President of the EuropeanThermal Cure Centres.Prof. Dr. Jozef Carsky ( Slovakia ),gave a speech on the Total Mineralizationof the Cure Waters and their QualityStandards.The afternoon session was on the paneldiscussion of these matters pertaning tothe area.The Ministry of Culture and TourismInvestments and Enterprises GeneralDirectorate Dept.
