Underdeveloped countries need support andassistance, but they must be helped to stand independently.Madaris, today, are institutions where rules and teachings of religion are taught.Madaris have the potential to be exploited and misused by extremist groupsand states. If the exploitation of madaris is not prevented, it may lead to a clashof civilisations between Islam and other religions.Suicide attacks are promoted by luring and misguiding people, includingchildren and women. This is done through brainwashing in madaris. Thissometimes even involves provocation of personal hostilities.Over the past three years, many cases of suicide attacks by young children wereregistered in Afghanistan. The exploitation of children as militants and suicidebombers has been the biggest concern of the government of Afghanistan andsociety at large. Such a new generation of young people with a mentality ofviolence and terror can become a long-term threat for Afghanistan, the regionand the entire world. It is thus important to devise a comprehensive strategy toensure Afghanistan’s transition to democracy in this period of international andregional crisis.The government of Afghanistan understands the benefits of democracy,promoted by Western states.
