SUBMITTAL GUIDELINES (CONTINUED):7. The <strong>AML</strong> does not supersede the policies and procedures <strong>of</strong> the <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>West</strong> <strong>Palm</strong> <strong>Beach</strong> Purchasing Department.Any direct and specifically identifiable conflicts between the <strong>AML</strong> and <strong>City</strong> technical specifications shall be arbitrated bythe Department Director responsible for the related material (i.e. Any conflict with water distribution pipe would bedecided by the Director <strong>of</strong> Public Utilities).8. The most current edition <strong>of</strong> the <strong>AML</strong> is maintained on the <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>West</strong> <strong>Palm</strong> <strong>Beach</strong> Engineering Services webpage and is available via email or paper copy, upon request. <strong>AML</strong>’s associated with <strong>City</strong> capital construction projectswill utilize the edition stipulated by the contract execution date, all other shall utilize the latest edition at time <strong>of</strong> initialsubmission.9. A Department Director may implement new and additional materials and/or manufacturers to a project-specific <strong>AML</strong> orin general. Project-specific material shall be added as a shop drawing amendment and in general material shall beadded to the next edition <strong>of</strong> the <strong>AML</strong>.10. By signing the Concurrency form, the Engineer and Contractor agree to adhere to the material specifications <strong>of</strong> the<strong>AML</strong>. It shall be acknowledged that the <strong>City</strong> will reject construction materials not in accordance with the <strong>AML</strong>.11. All material parts utilized in the <strong>City</strong>’s water distribution system, except hydrants, shall meet the provisions <strong>of</strong> Chapter62-555.335, Florida Administrative Code.- End <strong>of</strong> Section -Page 6 <strong>of</strong> 54 Approved Materials List – Revised November 1, 2011
