is similar enough to the actions below to indicate bullying behavior.<br />

Which of the behaviors listed below are considered bullying?<br />

Does someone you know repeatedly:<br />

“Borrow” or take things of yours?<br />

Leave a friendship because he or she does not get a person to do<br />

what he or she wants him or her to?<br />

Embarrass you or others? Play jokes on people?<br />

Tell lies about you to others or call you names?<br />

Leave you out of certain activities?<br />

Say you won’t be his or her friend if you don’t do what he or she<br />

asks you to?<br />

Hit, slap, kick, punch, or push you around?<br />

Expect to be first or best in everything?<br />

Make fun of you? Tell you you’re stupid <strong>and</strong> worthless?<br />

Act jealous of others’ good fortunes?<br />

Assume that he or she is the exception to rules?<br />

It doesn’t matter if you are the bully, the victim, or the byst<strong>and</strong>er;<br />

bullying hurts everyone. <strong>Bullying</strong> can be:<br />

✔ Telling secrets<br />

✔ Taking or breaking others’ belongings<br />

✔ Embarrassing others<br />

✔ Spreading rumors<br />
