If you were observing this as a byst<strong>and</strong>er, what might you do first to<br />
solve this situation?<br />
1. Ken is noted for being the best baseball player but never<br />
wants R<strong>and</strong>y to play because he thinks he is not good enough<br />
to participate.<br />
2. Liz has made a habit of egging Laura into a fight with Sara.<br />
She is always starting rumors about Sara trying to take Laura’s<br />
boyfriend.<br />
3. The bus is Nick’s castle. He enjoys bossing the sixth graders<br />
around <strong>and</strong> telling them to move to the front of the bus.<br />
4. Tamara is against bullying of any kind but many times makes<br />
comments about others’ mistakes in class. These comments<br />
carry over to online statements she makes with her friends, of<br />
which you are in her chat line.<br />
5. Jon is new to school <strong>and</strong> is trying to be accepted by showing<br />
that he is tough with the sixth graders. He claims he is doing<br />
nothing wrong because his behavior is occurring before <strong>and</strong><br />
after school <strong>and</strong> not during the school day. One of the sixth<br />
graders is your good friend.<br />
