BOX 2PAF in Terai Border VDCSince the beginning of the reporting year,PAF has laid special focus on Terai borderVDCs of five Terai districts PAF is currentlyworking to uplift the living standard ofthe poor. Of the total 59 VDCs, 17 VDCs(29 per cent) of five bordering districtsare covered by PAF. Facilitated by 14different partner organizations, a total of242 Community organizations arepursuing different income generation andcommunity infrastructure related projectsin these areas, benefiting 50,614 poorhouseholds. PAF has agreed to provideover 110 m Rupees to these communityorganizations.
