Superficial + Deep WoundsInstructions for usePermaFoamsacralFold the PermaFoamsacral dressing inhalf, press thepointed end withyour thumb onto thebuttock crease.Peel off the rest ofthe backing paper.Smooth the edgesof the foam dressingand mould them tothe body.PermaFoamconcaveRemove the backingpaper of the largerpart or PermaFoamand apply onto thewound moulding theadhesive edges ontothe skin. Remove theremaining backingpaper.Apply the smallerpart of the dressingwith overlappingedges covering thelarger part in place.Press the edges ofthe foam dressingfirmly onto the body.PermaFoamcavity21Fold PermaFoamcavity into pleats.Now fold the dressinginwards to adaptto the size of thewound.Pack the wound withPermaFoam cavityand cover withPermaFoam comfort.PermaFoamtracheostomyPlace PermaFoamtracheostomy overthe puncture pointof the cannula orprobe.Make sure that the Yslit of the foamdressing covers theinsertion site of thecannula.Secure the dressingwith tape or anadhesive sheetdressing (e.g.Omnipor).
