Catering Guidelines and PoliciesPlease review the following guidelines for all members & guests using the <strong>Minneapolis</strong> <strong>Club</strong>.Any questions should be directed to the Catering Office.SponsorshipAll private events must be hosted or sponsored by a <strong>Club</strong> member.Dress CodeBusiness casual is permitted for private dining rooms at all times. Tasteful and smart attire is expected for both ladiesand gentlemen.Smoking PolicySmoking is not permitted any where in the <strong>Club</strong>house, as per Minnesota State guidelines.Cell Phone UseThe use of cellular phones is prohibited in all areas of the <strong>Club</strong> with the exception of phone booths & privatedining rooms.Deposits, Billing and Cancellation Policies• A deposit is required for all events being held on a Saturday throughout the year.• All charges will be billed to a Member’s account, unless otherwise specified. Special billing can be set up prior tothe event for Members and non-member sponsored events.• All payments must be made by check. A credit card number is required for all non-member sponsored events withspecial billing.• The <strong>Club</strong> has a 72 hour cancellation policy for all events held Monday - Friday with the exception of weddingreceptions and groom’s dinners. Additional cancellations fees are specified on the contract.Menu Planning• Groups of 13 or more are required to set a menu; 12 and under may order a la carte.• The host is required to provide letter-coded place cards for all ‘choice of ’ entrees. Host is responsible for theadditional costs associated with extra meals in the absence of letter coding and/or place cards.• We request that all details pertaining to your event be completed at least (10) days prior to the date of the function.• Menus not finalized prior to the 3 business day guarnatee are subject to a $2 per person surcharge• We would be happy to schedule a food tasting for you. Costs are based on proposals; tasting dates and menus areto be scheduled and arranged at least one week in advance.• Due to health department & insurance regulations, no food or beverage items may be removed from the premise.All food and beverage must be purchased from the <strong>Minneapolis</strong> <strong>Club</strong> with the exception of wedding cakes from alicensed bakery.• All pricing in this guide is subject to change, based upon market conditions.
