Diogelu PlantSafeguarding ChildrenMae Urdd Gobaith Cymru yn ymrwymedigi amddiffyn plant rhag niwed. Mae staff agwirfoddolwyr yn y sefydliad hwn yn derbynac yn cydnabod eu cyfrifoldebau i ddatblyguymwybyddiaeth o’r materion sy’n gallu periniwed i blant . Mae pob aelod o staff yn gyfrifolam ddiogelu ac amddiffyn y plant sydd yn ygwersyll. Os ceir pryderon ynglŷn ag esgeulustraneu gam-drin corfforol, emosiynol neu rywiol,yna bydd y staff yn gweithredu yn unol â‘Gweithdrefnau Amddiffyn Plant Cymru Gyfan’Urdd Gobaith Cymru is committed to protectingchildren from harm. The organisation’s staffand volunteers accept and acknowledge theirresponsibilities to develop an awareness ofthe issues that can cause harm to children.Each member of staff is responsible forsafeguarding and protecting the children that arein attendance. If there are any concerns aboutnegligence or physical, emotional or sexualabuse, staff will act in accordance with the ‘AllWales Child Protection Procedures’.18
Byddwn yn ymdrechu i amddiffyn plant drwy:• fabwysiadu canllawiau amddiffyn plant trwygyfrwng gweithdrefnau a chod ymddygiad argyfer staff a gwirfoddolwyr• rhannu gwybodaeth am amddiffyn plant acarfer da gyda phlant, rhieni, gofalwyr, staff agwirfoddolwyr• rhannu gwybodaeth am bryderon gydagasiantaethau perthnasol, a chynnwys rhieni aphlant fel y bo’n briodol• dilyn y trefniadau ar gyfer recriwtio a detholstaff a gwirfoddolwyr yn ofalus• darparu rheolaeth effeithiol ar gyfer staff agwirfoddolwyr trwy oruchwyliaeth, cefnogaetha hyfforddiant.We will endeavour to protect children by:• adopting child protection guidelines throughprocedures and a code of conduct for staffand volunteers• sharing information about child protection andgood practice with children, parents, carers,staff and volunteers• sharing information about concerns withrelevant agencies, and including parents andchildren as appropriate• following the arrangements for recruiting staffand volunteers carefully• providing effective management for staffand volunteers through supervision, supportand training.19
