The Crimea is a perspective region ofthe international investment cooperation05As a part of Ukraine, ARC is an important tourist, industrialand transit region. Socicreconomical development of Crimeais closety connected to it's geopolitical location, climate andresource characteristics, as well as it's powerful intellectualand labor potential. In a stable economic development ofCrimea a crucial role is given to the regional investmentpolicy.lt determines the main sources, flows and investmentstructure and the order to implement effective measures toenhance investment development.Currently, foreign investment flow into the economy ofARC is about $ 1 billion. Among the regions of Ukraine thathave received foreign investments, Crimea is in the top ten.The main centers of investments are Yalta, Simferopol,Armyansk, Krasnoperekopsk, Alushta, Sudak.The bulk of foreign capital in the Autonomous Republicof Crimea is traditionally concentrated in the hospitalityindustry, heavy industry, therapy, construction, transport andtelecommunication enterprises.Active investment cooperation with Crimean partners fromRussian Federation, Germany, Cyprus, the UK, the USA,Uzbekistan, Switzerland and latvia is the result of longestablishedties between the countries. The share of theabove mentioned countries investment is accounted for90% of total foreign direct investment flow to the region.The main efforts of the government in investment policy areconcentrated on the development of effective mechanisms toattract investment and to apply them accordingly.In particular:1. Strategy of economic and social development of theAutonomous Republic of Crimea up to 2020 determinesglobal purpose, mission, strategic goals, operationalobjectives and major directions of development of theregion. The main priorities of the cluster developmentof Crimea: spa and therapy, tourism, farming, transportinfrastructure, fuel and energy complex and heavy industry •2. For regulating legal relations associated with thedistributing of lands on the territory of ARC there has beenprepsred and adopted by Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Law ofUkraine .. Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraineon improving land management in the Autonomous Republicof Crimea ...3. Prepared a draft of the law .. About bases of developmentof the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and peculiarities ofinvestment activity on it's territory ". The implementation ofthe law will help to stimulate investment flow and will help toresolve most critical socio-economic problems of the region.The document has to pass the re-negotiation process withthe interested executive bodies.4. Created Agency for regional development of ARC thatprovides suppon to the promising investment projects.Investors shall cooperate with the authorities on the principleof .. single window solution".The idea of organizing Agency for regional development ofARC was supponed by the European Union and the UnitedNations Development Program and the organizations defined.. Agency for regional development of ARC" as a pilot projectin the area of effective regional development in Ukraine.5. Council of investors by Council of Ministers of theAutonomous Republic of Crimea as a body that efficientlysolves problems of investors in the region and supportsthe promising investment projects. An investment map ofCrimea is being developed with a visual representation of theinvestment potential of the region.6. Additional interest to investors will hold theimplementation of the projects following the State Programsin Ukraine: ..
