full-scale measurements and bridge training programmes. MARIN
has six main testing facilities (Offshore Basin, Seakeeping and
Manoeuvring Basin, Shallow Water Basin, Deep Water Towing
Tank, High Speed Basin, and Depressurised Towing Tank) and
two main bridge simulators. As an independent institute, MARIN
organizes a large number of Joint Industry Projects (JIPs).
