The bishops’pastoral on stewardship reminds us, “that life to come”is in continuity with this present life through thehuman goods, the worthy human purposes, whichpeople foster now.”Living StewardshipWe are grateful this week for all stewards in our parishwho assist others in deepening their relationship withChrist through evangelization, catechesis and ongoingformation.Sharing One’s Material Resourcesin the ParishSIXTH SUNDAY OF EASTERFrom the RectorDear Parishioners:As you may have noticed, we recently had the fire lanestriping redone in the areas behind the Cathedral andnext to the Msgr. Kelly Parish Center. Over the years, the lines had become more and more faint. I have nodoubt that this contributed to more and more peopleusing this area to park their cars. While this may beconvenient, however, it is something that the FireDepartment has told us presents a dangerous situationinsofar as it impedes their ability, in an emergency, toget their trucks into this area. They have told us,therefore, that we need to enforce the “no parkingarea.” As we turn back the clock and get back to theway that it was when the Parish Center was first built, Iask you to please only use the areas designated asparking areas. I thank you for your understanding ofthe situation. In the Peace and Love of Christ,Fr.
