He has four brothers and three sisters, so family has alwaysbeen a big part of his life. Nate started playing baseball when he was eleven and hasn’tstopped since. Nate was home schooled all his life then graduated through online classesfrom Central Lake High School. One of Nate’s goals was to play college baseball and he wantsto thank all the coaching staff at M.C.C. for giving him the opportunity! “Give everything towhat you believe in!”Coach’s Comments: Nate will be a role player who will pinch run, hit and provides depth in the outfield.He comes from a tiny Northern school and is still adjusting to the speed of the game.# Name Pos B/T Ht Wt Yr Hometown High School15 Patrick Giddings 2B/SS R/R 5’10” 165 Fr <strong>Muskegon</strong>/Oakridge H SPatrick is the son of Don and Kathy Giddings. He has one sister (Morgan) who is a juniorin high school and is a very good athlete. Patrick loves to hunt, fish, and play baseball. Hegraduated from Oakridge High School where he was an All-State baseball player in hissenior season. His plans for college are to earn a degree in Education so he can become ateacher and a coach.Coach’s Comments: Patrick will share time at second base and backup Drew at shortstop. He hasgreat instincts and as the year progresses you will see improvement in all phases of his game.# Name Pos B/T Ht Wt Yr Hometown High School17 Jason Ribecky OF L/R 6’4” 210 Fr <strong>Muskegon</strong>/Catholic Central H SJason is the son of Mike and Nancy Ribecky. He has an older sister and brother-in-law, Lisa andDan Salvati. Jason is a 2012 graduate of <strong>Muskegon</strong> Catholic Central where he was a three yearvarsity player in football, basketball and baseball. Jason is undecided on his major, but does planto transfer to a four year university and continue his education and baseball career.Coach’s Comments: Jason is one of the best raw talents we have ever had at <strong>Muskegon</strong> <strong>Community</strong><strong>College</strong>. He has worked hard to refine his skills and become more consistent. He will see spot dutyin right field and DH. If he continues to improve we think the sky is the limit for Jason!
