He has one sister Kaity. He is a graduate ofKenowa Hills High School in 2011. Greg lettered in baseball and basketball. This is Greg’ssophomore season for the Jayhawks. He enjoys hunting, sports, and hanging out with hisfriends in his spare time. Greg is a catcher and Business major who plans to continue hisbaseball career at a 4 year university.Coach’s Comments: Greg will share duties in Catching. He has improved as a catcher from lastyear but we need him to be the type of hitter we think he can be to play a major role this year.# Name Pos B/T Ht Wt Yr Hometown High School33 John Jackoviak OF R/R 6’1” 180 So Scottville/Mason County Central H SJohn is the son of Jim and Jan Jackoviak and has one older sister, Juliana. He graduated fromMason County Central High School in 2011. John played football, baseball, and basketballall four years in high school. John played right field for the Jayhawks his freshmen year. Heplans on transferring to a four year institution after this year. When not playing baseball, Johnenjoys spending time hunting and fishing with his family.Coach’s Comments: John is one of our co-captains. He has great skills in the outfield and at theplate. He struggled last year but we anticipate a great year from him this year. We need him toknock in runs.# Name Pos B/T Ht Wt Yr Hometown High School34 Josh Wieten C/3B R/R 5’10” 220 Fr <strong>Muskegon</strong>/Orchard View H SJosh is the son of Rachel and David Wieten. He graduated from Orchard View High Schoolin 2012 where he was a 4 year starter on the baseball team. He was named 1st TeamAll-Conference,All-District, and All-State in his senior season. After his 2 years at MCCJosh plans to transfer to a 4 year institution and continue playing baseball while pursuing adegree in Pharmacy. He would like to thank his family and friends for all their support anddedication throughout the years.Coach’s Comments: Josh is a pure hitter that we think will be a great catcher next year or perhapsthis year. He also will play some 3rd base and is a potential DH as well. He could be one of thebest hitters ever at MCC ever before he leaves here!
