It should be located enroute from the entrance of the Unitto the Operating Room.90 .14.30CONSIDERATIONSFor additional room considerations and details refer to Room Data Sheets andRoom Layout Sheets.90 .15.10AnteroomDESCRIPTION AND FUNCTIONAnterooms are required to ensure pressure stabilisation and for staff andvisitors to change and dispose of personal protective gear used on entering orexit of an Isolation Room.The Anteroom shall be a minimum of eight m2.90 .15.20LOCATION AND RELATIONSHIPSThe Anteroom must be located adjacent to an Isolation Room; staff must passthrough the Anteroom to enter the Isolation Room. The Anteroom shall not beshared between Isolation Rooms.90 .15.30CONSIDERATIONSFor additional information refer to Part D - Infection Control.For additional room considerations and details refer to Room Data Sheets andRoom Layout Sheets.90 .1<strong>6.1</strong>0BathroomDESCRIPTION AND FUNCTIONThe Bathroom provides for assisted bathing of patients, patient dressing,undressing, grooming and handwashing. It is also used for bathing of patientsfor treatment and aromatherapy.The Bathroom should allow for independent disabled access as well as themanoeuvring of a patient on a lifting device, wheelchair or assisted chair.Space may be required to enable transfer of a patient to a bath from bothsides. A low height adjustable shower is required. The placement of the toiletshould also allow assistance from both sides.The minimum Bathroom size is 10 m2.
