Please read these carefullybefore assembling____________________________________________________1. Open the groundsheet in yourchosen location with the smallTrakker label indicating the doorposition and the elasticated peggingpoints located underneath thegroundsheet. Loosely install acouple of pegs to hold it in position.3. Standing in the doorway of thegroundsheet, position the junctionblock in the middle of your chest.Hold the two outermost polesattached to the rear part of theblock and fan the poles out as wideas possible, so as to tension thefabric. If you find it difficult to spreadthe poles, stop and check that thefabric is not tangled around the poleends. Do not force it.2. Lay the bivvy on to thegroundsheet and carefully open itout. Once the bivvy is fully openedout, insert the five elasticated polesections together. Check that theyare inserted properly.

If you are using thebivvy without a groundsheet, thenplease use the tension strapprovided.6. Peg down the rear bivvy polesusing the lower aluminium ring onthe bivvy and the correspondinggroundsheet rings.4. Now reach over and pull thehandle that is attached to the rearhalf of the centre junction block allthe way over. Pull up the middlefront pole and squeeze the twotogether until they touch. Slide thestainless steel ring over the end ofthe handle and release the tensionto lock it in place. You must ensurethat the panels are not tangledduring this process, as it maydamage the frame when opening. If you meet resistance, stop andcheck to see what the problem is.Please note: In windy conditions, youshould keep the profile low to the groundor stand side on to the wind. In extremeconditions, it is advantageous to peg downone of the long poles on the side fromwhich the wind is coming prior to openingthe canopy.7. Put the Quickstick stormpoles into the sleeves at the frontof the bivvy and screw them ontothe storm caps. Quicksticks aresupplied with quick fit adaptersand can be removed, simply byreleasing the top thumb screwand unplugging from the adapterleaving it on the storm cap.8. Peg the rest of the bivvy downusing the groundsheet as a roughguide. The door determines theposition of the front pegging points,so ensure it is closed during thisprocess and slightly slack whenpegged so that the zips run freely. Then extend the storm rods totension the material.9. The internal draft skirtsshould now be tucked under thegroundsheet to prevent moisturefrom entering the bivvy.
