Metos WD 9 applies the new Duplus technology. Duplus is
a technology to use double final rinse in one tank machines.
Double final rinse is commonly known and widely used rinsing
principle in rack conveyor and flight type machines. The principle
is to use re-circulated rinse water in the first rinsing phase. In the
second rinsing phase fresh water of temperature 85 – 90 º C is
used.
With double final rinse it is possible to decrease the fresh final
rinse water consumption and thus electricity and detergent
consumption. At the same time the rinse result is improved as the
total amount of rinse water is more than that traditionally used in
single tank machines.

In Metos WD9 machine the total amount of rinse water
per wash cycle is 75 % more than in the traditional
hood type machine (WD7).
This is possible thanks to Duplus technology with
double final rinse. The dishes are first rinsed with ~4,8
litres re-circulated rinse water and then with 2,2 litres
of fresh water.
Totally this equals 7 litres of rinse water for each wash
cycle.
