Granule washing machines clean cookware with water<br />
containing plastic granules. Even burnt on dirt is<br />
removed quickly and easily. The dishes do not need<br />
to be soaked before granule washing, only loose residue is<br />
scraped off to avoid unnecessary soiling of the wash water.<br />
Due to the unique two-door system, the <strong>Metos</strong> WD-100<br />
GR stands out from any other granule potwasher on the<br />
market; the dirty and clean sides are separated completely.<br />
Ergonomics and hygiene in potwashing<br />
The feed through of the wash cartridges enables quick working,<br />
thus ensuring highest possbile washing capacity. The food residues<br />
are scraped from the dishes on the scraping and loading table. The<br />
full table length basin has two large strainer baskets in the bottom.<br />
The strainers are easy to empty. After scraping the dishware are<br />
placed in the wash cartridge. The cartridge moves and rotates<br />
smoothly on the rollers. The full cartridge is fed into the machine<br />
and the selected programme is switched on. After the washing<br />

process the cartridge is slid out onto the unloading trolley. The<br />
cartridge fixes automatically to the trolley for transportation. The<br />
washing process starts automatically when the doors are closed. The<br />
doors open automatically after washing process is finished. The doors<br />
open upwards thus offering free working space round the machine,<br />
and the machine needs minimum floor space.<br />
Heat recovery<br />
The machine is equipped with a heat recovery system, which<br />
preheats the cold water used for final rinse. Heat recovery unit also<br />
condences steam during the wash and thus minimizes the heat and<br />
humidity in the dishroom. Due to the efficient spinning cycle only<br />
6 litres of fresh water is used per wash programme.<br />
HACCP<br />
WD-100 GR makes HACCP easier. The electronic control monitors<br />
washing and rinsing temperatures and has an alarm in case of low<br />
temperature or rinsing water quantity. The system also ensures the<br />
cleanness of the washing water, and has an alarm if the owerflow<br />
pipe is out of place or the water tap is closed.
