<strong>Metos</strong> WD hood type machines are fully automatic<br />

single tank dishwashers for demanding use. The design<br />

is geared to the demands of hygiene, intensive use and<br />

pleasant and effortless working conditions including cleaning and<br />

servicing. The machines are of stainless steel. The large range<br />

includes a suitable model for every use. The range also includes<br />

all the required fixtures and accessories for the washing department.<br />

Dishwasher operation is effortless. When the hood is closed, the washing<br />

programmes start automatically. With the 9A model the hood is closed<br />

by pressing a button and the hood is automatically lifted at the end of<br />

the programme. When rising, the hood tilts first forward releasing the<br />

steam from the rear upwards. When there are no dishes to wash, the<br />

machine is set into the energy saving mode to wait for dishes and the<br />

hood is closed.<br />

WD 9 is a hood type machine with an electronic control and monitoring<br />

system and the Duplus double final rinse technology. The machine uses<br />

standard 500x500 mm baskets. In pot washing the water pressure of<br />

the lower wash arm can be raised by turning a specific lever. The washing<br />

cabinet can handle large food preparation vessels, 600x400 mm transport<br />

boxes and for example up to eight 450x600 mm bakery plates at a<br />

time (the bakery plate basket is optional). The machine has three<br />

programmes: 1, 1.6 and 3.1 minutes (factory setting, can be individually<br />

adjusted). Pressure booster pump is a standard supply for WD9.<br />

The double final rinse principle is to use in the re-circulated rinse water<br />

in the first rinsing phase. In the second rinsing phase, fresh water of<br />

temperature 85 – 90ºC is used. The machine always controls that the<br />

water flow in the final rinse is correct. If the final rinse temperature<br />

falls under 85°C, the machine continues to wash until the correct<br />

temperature is reached. The remaining washing time is displayed on<br />

the panel.<br />

Cleaning of the machine is easy and effortless. When the strainers,<br />

overflow pipe and possible food residues are removed, it is possible to
